    I was wondering about the small lips on the headlights, are they used for daytime saving lights? (Corrected." Daytime running lights") I've seen other tundras with those being used for daytime saving lights instead of the big orange ones.

    The DRL strips are on the higher models. Us poor folk with SR5's have what looks like a DRL strip, but it doesn't light up. All they gave us was a big stupid amber light.

    No, the strips are not actual lights on the SR5, nor are we wired for it neither. You can add them if you do a retrofit.

    I switch the amber daytime running lights for some led whites. Bought them at autozone for about 25. So far no issues.
