Hi there, purchased my first truck on Monday, 2015 Tundra sr5 4x4 opted for leather interior, sr5 upgrade package + options, TSS off-road package, 3in lift with xtreme mt2 35x12.5R20. skid plates, and some other stuff I cant remember right now lol never owned a truck and have been wanting one for quite a while, finally got the green light from the wife, and I quote, "okay, you can buy a tundra from the dealership" as she didn't include limitations, disclaimers, or any other special instructions I walked out with this beauty

gotta say coming from a small car that got 30MPG this thing freaked the hell out of me when 2 days in I was at half a tank lol but I love it, get to be the guy turning heads and not the one turningtundra 2.jpgtundra 3.jpg

Welcome! You got a nice looking truck! It's good you bought it all at once rather than later convincing the wife why you need different wheels and your truck needing to be just three inches higher... What kind of lift do you have?

Thanks Trucky, I just finished reading your thread on everything you have done on your truck. As for your question, I am trying to find out, im not really savvy on truck parts and lifts as I was always driving sport cars. Is there an easy way to find that kind of info? Should I just call the dealership?

sharp looking truck, I love the third gen tundras and you can't beat white.

are you sure this is only 3" lift on 30" tires? it looks way taller than that.

you could call the dealer and they might be able to get in contact with whoever traded the truck in and get any info you need or just climb under it and more than likely the lift will have some brand names on it.

Welcome. Nice Tundra! Agree with TNTundra, looks like at least a 6 inch lift on 35's.

oh its not a trade in, the dealer installed the options. Got it with 7 miles in the odo. first owner. the sticker on the window had 3" lift and wheel/tire package on it I saw another one in gray that also stated 3 " lift and looked lower but the guy said it was the wheel size difference and smaller tires

yes I do PRO, I saw the list posted here about the possible mods and my list seems endless lol unfortunately with a $1200 monthly payment on the truck that list might take a while :( I do know the stock speakers and amp need to go....cant hear a thing while driving with windows down...which is 90% of the time lol

I checked under the truck and all I see is Pro Comp, ill get some pics when I get home

Welcome and congrats. Nice rig. Definitely more than 3 inch lift and if you paid for a 3" lift, I would not mention it to them, haha. You got a great deal.

Thanks a lot guys I really love the truck and I knew that seemed too high for it to be 3 inch the rep at Toyota is a long time buddy of mine so we really didn't go into detail on the truck I just saw it and bought it. Should have payed more attention to detail. I did contact him and asked for full spec sheet including dealer installed options. I'm sure they will find out its not a 3 but a 6-7 but hey price was set, financed, and signed lol I'm taking the truck to a buddy of mine that said he can figure out what lift it is but he might be talking out of his a$$ for all I know. The suspense of not knowing is now killing me!!!:mad::mad::crapstorm::frusty::frusty:

It's OK, not great. There are better drop bracket lifts out there, but one thing procomp does offer is supplemental powertrain warranty coverage which is nice I suppose. A drop bracket lift doesnt do anything for actual offroad performance, just gives a higher stance for mounting larger tires and a bit more frame clearance and approach/departure.
The stage 2 would be better as it does away with the massive strut spacer in the front in favor of better performing 2.5" body adjustable coilovers.

Hey that lift aint bad at all in my opinion. Unless you plan on taking your truck off roading than yea upgrade but love the look and probably drives the balls too.

Hey nothing wrong with a pro comp lift. If you like the ride and don't do more than dirt roads, the spacer is fine. Your truck looks good and you can always do coilovers later. Careful on the stereo upgrade,... It will suck your bank account dry if you get carried away! Ha
