Wow. Up here in Canada the TRD Pro lists at around $68k, plus engine block heater, step bars and tonneau, almost $71k. Then dealer fees and about 37 different taxes(I'm exaggerating, but there area bunch) for a total of $75k out the door. In total, I got around $2k off msrp and that's only because I was referred by a friend of the manager.
I ended up putting a deposit down on a lunar rock they have coming 3rd week of April. Before I put the deposit down, I shopped the price with 3 other dealers in town and NOBODY would budge off the msrp on the Pro. Even the other dealers salesmen were telling me to take this deal.
I'm used to negotiating $15k off of a domestic diesel so this feels like a bit of a letdown but that's okay, it's a better quality truck.

That has probably deprecated a whole $2,500 over the past 4 years...

Yeah, it great. I have 46***k miles on her. Putting a magnuson in about a month or two and keeping it until I can’t get in her anymore.

I had a 12 sr5 DC that had the Trd branded supercharger and I miss the power. Once the blower is in, I will have the perfect truck in my opinion.

$75k CAD is $59,271.68 USD by today's exchange rate

My 2020 GMC 3500 AT4 DMAX will be on its way down South pretty soon, all the money is made on the exchange rate.

2021 Trail Edition Crewmax 4x4 with steps (wanted), charging and connectivity kit (wanted), BS protection package, free tint which kind of makes up for BS protection package and free pin stripes which I literally just removed. MSRP right at 48k, discount 4500 including the rebate = right around 43,600 after BS fees. TTL separate.

I paid a bit of the COVID tax but I was also picky and impatient. We are taking our first family road trip very soon (we've had 3 fly out vacations canceled due to COVID restrictions) and I wanted the new truck ready to go. OEM LED fogs installed and Tonneau should be here tomorrow unless Amazon lost it, was supposed to be here last week. She will still have the temp tag on when she hits 4k miles lol.

June 2020, after a cpl months of telling dealers I won’t pay inflated prices during a time when they needed my money more than I needed their truck, I picked up a 17 Platinum in nearly mint condition, about 14k miles, for just under 40k. Just kept looking, swore I wouldn’t let a dealer take me for a fool, and ended up with one being driven to me, on their dime, from Omak, WA to West Seattle. That’s about 250 miles and almost 5 hours. Also got a great return on the 2014 Honda CR-V, more than anyone in Seattle or surrounding areas were willing to give. Never had a nicer vehicle. Still stunned I was able to work this deal.

Came with the level kit already installed, some extras like power inverter under the seat, remote ignition add-on, and impeccable inside, out, and under the hood. Beautiful black, no blemishes.

My first post and great Tundra forum I have been using recently, bought a 2021 Tundra in March and had been looking for my perfect one with all options for a while starting in December 2020, not much inventory for most dealers in my area, and expanded my search to Toyota website and only saw about 160 for sale on Toyotas website.

Most dealers in my area in MA had little or none in stock and heard there was a big chip shortage for Toyota and other manufacturers dramatically affecting production for Toyota and other manufacturers for the electronics in the trucks. Anyway kept checking Toyotas website and the number of Tundras kept going down from the 160 in Dec 2020, and finally found my dream Tundra SR5 in red like I wanted with, TRD Sport Package, 20" wheels, Premium Audio,SR5 Upgrade, TRD Sport Connivence package, 8 In Apple touch screen which screen resolution is awesome.

Only other option I wanted was leather seats, but couldn't couldn't find a Tundra equipped with leather seats with the other options I wanted, and had to stay with the 6"-7" bed for work. I watched and hoped the inventory got better for the dealers but didn't, and number of Tundras every week got lower and lower. Finally bought a Tundra with all the options above in my Red color and was only missing leather seats and going to research and send it out next for that and any recommendations for best leather seats would be appreciated?

MSRP was 46,735.00 and paid 43,000.00 for it, I did have a trade with a Ford 2012 Lariat loaded in pristine condition with 60K miles and turned into a total piece of junk after 50K miles, Fords have have more creature features than Toyota but I would never buy one again as it was total piece of junk from day one when I bought it.

I checked out gmc, ford, dodge and Toyota etc looking for a new pickup, and loved the Tacoma for which I had a SR5 with the 7 foot bed 20 + years ago and went went 250k miles and sold it, only repairs ever on my old Tacoma was tires and brakes and loved it and best pickup I ever owned. As much as I wanted another Tacoma with the better MPG drove it and the Tundra and I need to tow some times and the Tundra was the best option.

Test driving all brands the Tundra was the best and the most rock solid pickup I thought, and blows away all the others even though it doesn't have all the other bells and whistles and creature features other companies have, but I am really loving my Tundra and think its the best pickup ever built.

Watching the rumors too now that in 2022 for a new Tundra total redesign, maybe a new turbo charged six cylinder and would be the first one to buy one and would be awesome if Toyota could get the MPG better.

In my search too for a few others most dealers wanted full MSRP and wouldn't discount them at all, and I own a business with a fleet of Dodge promaster high roof van and Ford vans/pickups for my corporation, and have a local Toyota/Dodge dealer I do business with a lot, who told me most dealers won't swap any Tundras due too the inventory shortage, as well as aren't selling any below the MSRP List price due to the shortage.

To answer your leather question - most people in your situation go with Katzkin. You can basically customize any color combination you can think of and also offer heated/vented seat kits as well. I will be going with Katzkin sometime this year, though I have been looking into some other heated/cooled kits that seem they may be better than the Katzkin Degreez kits

They are great, had a set on my 2013. Hit that search option. It will give you everything you need to know...even options on adding heated seats.

Sticker was 56 and change, I paid 53 OTD. Purchased in November of 2020. 21 Limited Nightshade with steps, bed liner, led interior kit, some other miscellaneous crap. Finance guy said 8k off MSRP was the best hes seen in a while.

You don’t want to run it bone dry, the tank is so long the pump can overheat if it isn’t submerged. Also parking on an incline might put the pump out of fuel level.

I wish there was a better design short of glass mat but I have never put more than 32 gallons in on my 38 gallon tank. Every other car I’ve had has gone to like within half gallon of the states capacity.

I would much prefer it this way. That's the "fudge" room to protect your fuel pump. Just filled last week with "24 miles". Still had 5.5 gallons left. I normally don't run it that low, but not normal circumstances. Back when I had an S-10, I was very familiar with loaner/rental cars. 2 different Cavaliers on the same repair. One ran out of gas within 5 miles of the low fuel light. NO THANKS!!

I think I paid 35k out the door ... in 2011 ... for my 4x4 TRD CrewMax with tow package. Not even 70k on the odometer yet. Such a great truck ... nothing but oil changes for 10yrs as far as maintenance, haven't done the brakes yet.

Bought this 2014 Toyota Tundra crew max trd off-road 4x4 with 67k miles through a private party for 28k, 3 weeks ago. Has fresh aftermarket wheels, 33/12.5/18 toyo, raceline wheels, AMP research power steps, remote start, alarm, and pro comp coilovers with reservoirs. I’ll be switching those wheels out soon.

Wow, that's a steal. I paid the same a for a '14 SR5 with 92k on it in November without all those bells and whistles. It has a sunroof though, so that was worth it for me, lol
