I seem to have lost both brake lights, but my tail lights are working. Or so says the friends that are following me. What would be the first thing I should check?

    Yeah. Thats a good one.

Big Boy made me leave the Parts Office last year because I refused wearing a mask. He brought one to me with his Grubby Plump Fingers that had touched his own Snot Laden Homemade Mask. I said I’ll wait outside if you can bring my parts out and he did. Next time I went for pick up I called and asked to bring out and he saw me and connected everything. He refused on my third pick up and I was forced to go in. :annoyed::rofl:

So now I know to select cheapo option for 3 day home delivery.

I could have paid $45 for delivery in 3 days from the same menu. :monocle:

    Geez gas prices are high!!!!
I almost made 20$ from less than a half a gallon!!!!

amidst feather dusting my grounds; I watched a father and kid zoom by on their dirt bikes, the kids was clearly a 50cc.
I see them come back down the street 10 minutes later but the kid was riding on papas handle bars, I gave a friendly wave(not the Jeep wave) he went to the round about and came back and pulled into my driveway; “do you have a gas can?” I replied yes!
The kids bike ran out of gas down the street at the worst local burrito joint, I went into my Dungeon and spotted my gas can; it was half full. So I walk back out and say here you go, it actually has some in there. Pops said he would come back with 20$. I told them to go enjoy their burrito and come back. Feather dusting proceeded, and as I’m mangling my forearm on the rear block ground; I think, what am I doing, I can’t take 20$ for a liter of gas!
So they come tootin back down the road and pull up, I’m like dude don’t worry about it! He tried to still give me money but I refused, I just said enjoy your ride!

That rear ground angle is fun times!

The Mother Earth Mojo will Flow even better with you since you’ve been kind to her offspring. Sadly, we will deduct one Earth Point for your carbon inducing gas giveaway and a half a point for not sending ‘thoughts and prayers’.

Pretty sure those bulbs are the dual filament bulbs. So one filament for the running tails and one for the brakes. That’s why they only half work.

We checked the bulbs and they looked fine.

Yesterday I gave a stranger a jump start. He didn't listen and connected his negative cable to a painted metal surface. My battery started smoking for a second. Now I have no brake lights. Everything else seems to work fine. It has to be related. Can't imagine both bulbs going at the same time. They are only a year or two old.

Hmm weird. I would still try a new bulb. Also, I ALWAYS connect MY positive to my battery and negative to metal when jumping someone’s battery. Never had an issue. Now I have a Noco portable jumper. Works great and no risk of hooking cables up backwards

S10 rear end still has the diff. A lot of these Amish will hook the pto up to the driveshaft of whatever their "trailer" is. So the s10 could be pushing the tractor along.

Does the tractor have a treadmill type thing that the Amish guy is running on in the cab, that powers it all? Or is a horse pulling the tractor?

Nope. Diesel. They all roll coal.

Most Amish have a "phone shack." Like an outhouse for a landline.

Some Amish that sell goods wholesale actually have smartphones now.

Huh. You think someone would actually pay money for an original AM/FM/CD from a 2000 Tundra? I never even thought of it. I'd have to check if I still even have it; I think I just tossed it.

80s!!! Man, I'm excited because it's going to get above FREEZING on Tuesday! Only the second time since sometime in early December, I think. The sap will be running, and with three days of above freezing temps, my driveway might melt! :)

Heh. And with mud season starting, I just might go visit my buddy up on Ireland Road - 3-4 miles of steep MUD. Gotta try out the new Tundra in that stuff.

Found my uncle a truck.. 2004 access cab, new frame in 2015, 120k miles. Rhino lined bed, access tonneau cover, 17” split spokes from the factory... it’s a pretty damn nice truck.

Yeah... I actually bought a Audew jump pack in January. I tried using that first and it didn't work. Talk about disappointing. I think his battery was extremely drained though. I'm wondering if it was too dead for the jump pack.

I'll never let a stranger hook up jumper cables again.

Ah bummer. I’ve used mine twice since buying it. Maybe it could have sat on the jumper for a little. Not sure if that makes a difference or not though

I have this one that I keep in the truck now since I was stranded at the gas station that one day.

    Screenshot_20210306-182148_Google.jpg

The box says it's only rated to start a V6 but I've jumped the 4.7L V8 sequioa, and the 5.3L V8 chevy with it with no issues. It has a light on it that tells you if you've hooked up the terminals wrong.

I don't believe that any of the batteries I used this on were dead ass flat though.

IIIRC, I paid shipping for one from @FirstGenVol . I like simple factory radios. So I got the upgraded version factory radio for my Tundra & for my Tacoma from list members. Pretty sure both were free + shipping on the free pages in marketplace. I hate all those stupid blue lights at night & scrolling text & button beeps (finally figured out how to turn the beeps off). A simple, invisible, ergonomic factory unit is always the better choice for me.
...and they play my cassettes, 'cause I'm like - old. :)

Crappy past 4 days. The last two dealing with my kids who were tyrants for some reason while the wife was at work and gone most of today...had to get away. Pissed off at the world for some reason so I joined myself at the whiskey bar.
Got a nice flight. Too bad happiness isn’t at the bottom of any of these glasses haha!

Because I am a third shifter... I missed out on the deal of a lifetime.

A family friend of ours purchased their deceased dad's old 1 ton T100 a year or so ago for 6k. It is rust free, and had less than 150k miles. V6, 4WD.

They sold it today for $1,200 because money is tight, and they have to make ends meet.

They searched for that truck for 8 months before finally finding a matching Vin Number.

It was pristine. It sold within 45 minutes of listing... I was asleep. Prepping for work tonight. Had I had the weekend off it would have been mine.

    Spilt milk.
