Surely someone has some new photos and opinions..seriously looking at this kit now. I watched an install video of the Falcon shocks on an f150, and I wasn’t a fan of how easily the rear shocks compressed. Seemed too soft to me. I had kings on my Tacoma and they were all but impossible to compress by hand..are the falcons too soft in the back?

I can tell you the Tundra rears are extremely difficult to compress on the softest setting. I had the eyelet on the ground and pushed down as hard as and while it compressed it was very difficult.
On setting 3 I could not compress them.

I got mine directly from TeraFlex Falcon Shocks Website. https://www.falconshocks.com/

I had to use a hydraulic jack to compress the Falcons to install them. However, I was able to compress my OEM rears without any issue. In fact I handed one of the OEM ones to my wife and she was even able to compress the old ones. These Falcons are far better than the OEM.

I plan to take some pictures tomorrow of the stance as soon as I get the truck washed.

20210306_113510.jpg I got mine at Shock Surplus. They no longer show in stock. :-(

I'll do some stance pics today...also hoping to add a catalytic shield this weekend. I park the truck at boat ramps all day while fishing and hope to make my truck a more difficult target.

Thanks for the complement. Yes, OEM Flares. Front shocks were set to level. All Toyota Safety Sense (TSS) features work.

How much lift is that? Looks significant.

I can't find my exact measurements, but the back was about 1/2 inch increase and the front was 2.5 inches, it was noticeable when I drove it the first time. I also had to adjust my headlights because they now pointed up too high.

@John175 recorded his, and he had about the same increase.

You get new UCAs? I'm trying to stay sub 2" and avoid all the other necessities when getting above 2.5"

You don't need to worry about UCAs until you lift to about 3". Should be no need for new UCAs even on max height with the Falcons.

Nope, just used the stock UCA's and coils. When they designed the Falcons, they wanted to use as much OEM as possible. There is two lower settings, middle, and stock that you can go with instead. I can't help but wonder if the middle setting would be better to avoid as much pre-load on the front spring.

The truck definitely corners better, less body roll and feels more stable on it's feet at the "Level" setting up front.

So is this lift/level set up just a Falcon set up. What I mean by this is nothing else installed in the rear of the truck to increase the rear end height. I am heading down this road and I really like how your truck sits. I just want to be sure it is only Falcon equipped.

They occasionally go onsale during major holidays. Everyone seems to list them about the same price (atleast that I've seen). Some sellers offer affirm for financing.

I think we'll see this product come to the Tundra in the next 18 months especially once the global supply chain issues get sorted.

Thanks. Ya, that car wash is a beaut. All of our car washes up here are indoors because of the cold winters. Nice thing about this one is each bay is huge and there is probably 20 of them. Perfect for washing the salt/sand/crud off during our long winters

Dude, looks killer. I've got about 1k miles on my Falcon setup now, they keep getting better! They definitely "break in" and get less bouncy and more cushy, in a GOOD WAY!!!

I also got mine from Shock Surplus, they were fantastic, shipped next day, very speedy. Love being perfectly leveled and off road and tow ready. I think the Falcon's are a lot of BANG for the buck. I also like that they leverage the OEM setup and don't F up your truck with one of those crazy spacer lifts.

This looks great. I’m just about sold on the setup. Just concerned about the amount of preload on the stock springs. But, I do like the fact that it uses the oem parts and gives you bigger shock bodies.

So, nothing negative to say about the front being leveled on the stock springs?

Not at all. They account for this with their Zone Rate Tuning of the shock.
It’s not like a 5100 or other leveling shock that is just a longer shock with the added preload but the internals are identical to their standard length 4100s.

Of course one has to be realistic about what this kit is and what it does.
It will out perform 90% of what folks will actually throw at it.
Is it a high speed Baja setup of or some long travel rock crawling setup? Certainly not and won’t perform as such.
But being realistic understanding this is for moderate off-road with plenty of on road driving and one should enjoy it.

Nothing so far, keeping in mind I have less than 500kms (300 miles)

If you haven't already read the paraphernalia on Falcon's website, here is a good read about their tuning and damping specifics and the reasoning behind staying with the OEM spring. Lots of videos on YouTube comparing internals to competitors shocks and their corrosion protection was appealing to me as well, because of the heavy salt and sand use on the roads here 6 months of the year. Whether they hold up is yet to be seen. So far, the on road characteristics have been improved over the platinum set up that came on the truck
