Kenwood DMX1037

Were you using Mac OS initially? I'm hesitant to try this unless there are significant improvements. What's changed? I have an iPhone XS if that matters in terms of what has changed...

 

I did use MacOS to download the update and I did use two different USB drives, from two different manufacturers, both formatted for FAT32 "out of the box", and got errors on both before the second eventually completed. This update appears to be performance and bug fixes with nothing else visually different.

 

I used windows for my update and I didn't have any issues.

I’ll def get a pic of the ambient sensor cord this weekend. When I put the 1037s in, there wasn’t a place to plug it in, so the cord that connected to the ambient light sensor is hanging and connected to nothing. Idk how the truck is supposed to know to turn on the auto headlights without it.
It’s driving me nuts trying to remember to turn on the lights each time.

DMX1037S. With the mirroing casting feature I'm sorry to say that NONE of the Google Pixel phones offer that feature. That feature is only on the Samsung S 8, 9, 10 phones and the Samsung Note 8, 9, 10 phones. Not all phones offer that feature. "

Nope, was trying to do the wireless

 

I'm trying to get this head unit installed however, the instructions are quite confusing. Anyone know of a good video or instructions for install?
