Great pic! The only way I'd catch that much air would be to run off a cliff. :)

This reminded me a of a funny Christmas story.

My wifes family gets together every Christmas and her clan is so big we have to do white elephant exchanges, they are always fun. A few years back one of her cousins (Matt) was around 17 and didn't have much money, but he always improvised to produce a gift, one year it became genius.

A different cousin brought along her roommate. She brought a gift so she joined the white elephant thing. When it was the roommates turn to select a gift she grabbed what looked to be a picture frame. She opened it and it had a twenty dollar bill in the frame, a pretty nice score.

A few others took their turns and soon it was Matt's turn. He walked over and took the roommates frame/$20, with a huge smile as he walked away. The roomate didn't seem concerned, she said there was another frame in the pile and she pulled it out. She opened it and to her surprise there was no twenty dollar bill this time... instead... it was an autographed photo of Matt!

The salt in the wound was priceless. You really can't make that kinda thing up and it wasn't planned.

This reminds me of a dirty Santa game we played one year.

My cousin Luke had brought his boyfriend (Leo) down from Seattle to meet the family.
Leo is originally from South Korea. English is his second language.

Couple turns in it was Leo's turn. There were a few items in play, and still unopened items. He chose to open a new gift. We all hyped him up before he opened it.

He got the paper off gingerly. He's one of those people who doesn't like to rip wrapping paper if it's pretty.

So a few minutes go by. He turns the box around and announces proudly. "It's a Kuh-land-der!"

Crickets in the room. My aunt Kim looked at the box and said nonchalantly, "oh, you mean Colander."
    Screenshot_20210304-164717_Chrome.jpg
The room burst with laughter. He took it like a champ. Still a running joke in the family.

My family has had "the box" for about 3 decades now. Everyone Christmas, whether we have everyone together or not, the box makes its way to an unexpecting, although suspecting, family member. The box is always packed differently each year, sometimes within multiple boxes, sometimes a single box in a neat gift bag, sometimes in its original packaging.

What's in this box you say?? I neatly gift wrapped, 10" fake turd. My uncle Kevin, who shows zero emotion 364 days out of the year, always has tears of joy and uncontrollable laughter on christmas day.

I think a part of the issue is plow trucks are running about in the damp, but a lot of them don't get out on the highway to dry out the frame when the wet is done.

I used to ride in one like that except it was a plastic patio chair, you know the ones with the flimsy legs. Was my family trying to get rid of me?

Well, small town... that's different. Only been here about 8 years but I actually know some of the locals by sight and will wave, no matter what I'm on.

When I'm riding... anything larger than a moped will get a wave. (I remember having a moped; I didn't want anyone to recognize me, either.) I haven't really noticed a difference between when I ride the Vulcan (really hard to tell the difference between that and a Harley from a distance) or when I'm on my Gold Wing trike. But then I confuse other riders... riding a Wing but wearing leathers will do that.

    FB_IMG_1563791808949.jpg

Soon as I get a Boss HTX mounted on my new 2018, this beast is up for sale. But he's done a great job for the last three years clearing my driveway. 100 yards of gravel located in the Green Mountains in VT. And as Festerw says, don't slam the snowbanks and brake to a stop before shifting from D to R.

And surprisingly enough, that little RediPlow does a decent job. Biggest problem is that you can't back-blade with it.

What do you guys do with all your left over parts? I have struts, uca, radio and amp, headlights, skidplate, corner lights. I fee like I should t throw any of it away but my father doesn't really like me storing them all at his house.

Based on how many packrats we have in this country I'm guessing most people store all that shit for some reason. Personally I recycle what I can and throw or sell the rest. I buy a garage so I can actually park vehicles in it, not fill it with junk.

My dash rattle was bad in the fall so I pulled out my backer rod as well. It was hard and compressed so much it was doing nothing. I ended up pulling stereo and added some thick foam tape to a few areas, and then new backer rod. Been silent since. Only took me 8 years to finally fix it.

Nice week coming up with Therapy Time on the 2002. Weather supposed to be in the mid-60’s and Sunny! This list is about a casual 2 days job. Stoked because its been a while since working in the Nerve Center.
