Technically, I am. I've got a 6GB scan file exporting...so while the little progress bar sits and spins, I can check Tundras.

    Yep...
This time, we're doing it a little different - leaving on Monday and coming back on Monday. Gives us the weekend to actually get ready to leave without trying to rush it Friday night. And cuts the bullshit return-to-work week down by a day when I get back (and lets most of the fires that start on Monday burn down to embers before I show up). I swear, 95% of the BS that explodes on Monday is self-solvable but people just don't try.
I'll end up checking/responding to emails in the mornings while on vacation just to make sure any crazy shit doesn't blow up.

A dude pulled into our parking area out back with his fairly new Ford Kraptor to drop some equipment off. This was left behind pretty much below the engine area.......20210302_113352.jpg

This was what I hated most about my last job as a project manger. Half my time at work was spent begging or threatening people to actually make some progress on my projects and the other half was finding other little crap I could work on while sitting around actually waiting for that progress. Then as soon as I would go on vacation, a bunch of issues would crop up, people would make decisions and move stuff stuff ahead and I'd get to come back, read all the emails they sent while I was away and go back to waiting for more progress.

No, I ended up having a pretty busy day getting the new trailer tires up to legal standards.

Rarely enough time nowadays to get things done. Are there any new CO laws dealing with trailer tires???

Left over coals lol, but yes. I would heat them up in a skillet before I boil them!!! The wife is just super cheap and we are going to start a side hustle of building homes. She’s a realtor and there’s no inventory here so, why not!

Good luck to you! The price of building materials right now would make me cautious, but if you’ve got the means and can get the land at a good price, the market’s hot!

Yes building materials are out of sight right now. I can only imagine how many people are going to be upside down when this bubble pops. Like back in 2008.

I thought squeezing 9 people into a Volkswagen Beetle was a feat, but 25 in an old Expedition? :eek2:
Sad thing is most of those people were probably just trying to put some scrap of food on the table.

Yes lumber has gone up. Home prices should be coming back down eventually bc the interest rates are starting to go back up. We shall see.

No new laws. It was actually the wheels. They were rated at 4080 lbs each and I need 4400 lbs each to have a good safety factor.

It was actually the wheels. I played musical tire/wheels today. I color coded the wheels and tires that needed to be mated together. Somehow that got messed up.
