Well, if they fit, I can’t imagine they wouldn’t compliment the ims struts. Eibach springs seem to be good quality.

Did this lift the front of the truck?

Edit* also I’m assuming you’re talking about the stock blue/yellow 4600s, correct? Do you have any photos of the truck with this setup?

They're going on today. Hope it's better than the 6112s... Time will tell.

I'm curious to see your comments. I tried to assemble mine this weekend but my spring compressor failed on me so I'm shooting for next weekend

Thank you for posting this. I think I’m going to give the IMS a shot with the eibach springs.

edit* it does look like the lower end of the spring might be too narrow to fit around the IMS. I guess I won’t know unless I try.

Shop isn't done with the install yet. I'll let you know some point today. I got the IMS fronts and rears, along with the regular load leaf springs.

It rides super nice. I did the IMS with 3in coils (I think... I asked for teal springs, but Exit and Dobinsons sent me black ones). Lifted the truck about 4 inches in the front. I did get the rear leaf springs too. They are really really nice. I will take pictures later tonight. Overall pleased, but the color mistake is kind of annoying.

Well hopefully the front settles down some. So you like the feel of the Dobinsons leaf pack and the rear IMS shocks? Looking forward to some pictures! How do you feel about the setup versus the 6112s?

The leaf pack is stunning compared to stock. Truck feels more solid. I ended up using the Ironman 4x4 shackles too. The rear shocks feel super supple. Compared to 6112s they feel more planted. Worthwhile purchase definitely. I don't know how they could have messed up the color choice on something so important, but it looks and rides great.

These the 780 coils? I literally just ordered those today with the regular twin tubes and regular leaf pack. 4 inches is a lot, but hopefully not too much.

Did you leave the clips at factory setting?

They were/hopefully are the 780 coils. I had the 6112/5160 combo with +3 CB shackles, and now with the IMS front and regular leafs my truck is about 1-1.5 inches higher all around. I only know this because my truck no longer fits in my office parking garage.

I did factory 2nd clip on the left and bottom clip on the right.

Gotcha. Yeah my truck won't fit in my own garage after this but oh well lol.

I ordered the Boss off-road adjustable shackles hoping to maintain some rake even if these lift the front end 4 inches.

I'll also tell you that thank god I replaced the stock leaf springs, as otherwise my truck would be nose high. The 3 in coil thing on the 780s is definitely not true, at least as of initial install.

Bummer on that. If only you'd let us know over 2 weeks ago when it was delivered that there was an incorrect color picked off the shelf, we could have sorted it out. I guess you didn't check them out when you got them? For as many emails I got from you about everything, and as anxious as you were to get the parts, I figured you'd have opened them up the minute UPS delivered them!!

Brand new coils, struts, and possibly new strut mounts too will take about 500 miles to settle and break in.

Thank you. I did the same. Hopefully I will have mine on by Saturday and we'll see what the 2.5 coils give me for lift.

Did not open up every box unfortunately. What is nice is that my local off-road shop is now an authorized dealer for Dobinsons, so if I have any further issues they can handle it locally.

Question for those that have these assembled. How much space do you have between each coil with no weight or off the truck? I only have about 1/4" - 3/8" and I'm not seeing how these will compress anymore than about 4" before they coil bind

Really looking forward to responses to this post. I have been looking at these springs on others’ setups and wondering the same exact thing. Someone will read this and have some good info. According to the forums and even Instagram pages like dobinsonsusa and mainlineoverland, tons of tundras running around with Dobinsons kitted to their trucks.

I'm assuming you received them assembled? From what I gather they are supposed to be like that. That's why those cheap rental coil spring compressors from advance auto, auto zone etc, don't work with these from what I've read.

SPC makes a low profile style compressor I'll be buying to build mine.
