17’ Tundra, stock height. Cooper discoverer AT3’s around Method 316’s in Gloss Titanium. Only rubbing I’ve heard is at full lock left in reverse. Got them on this last Tuesday, just before the snow hit here in WA. AT3’s did great.

Anyone with stock suspension running 275/70r18’s with 1.25” wheel spacers? Want to widen the stance a little bit but want to keep the stock TRD OR wheels.

Ok, I reviewed many of the posts, about 25 pages, here and found a great deal of information. However my specific requirement does not seem to be addressed. 2021 CM offroad with bilstein 6112 highest setting no shims for 2.5 lift and Built Right UCA's, 5160 in the rear. I am going to keep the 18" TRD offroad wheels so I want to know the largest best choice tire size (subjective? yes) with no cutting, trimming, spacers etc. Thinking 285/75r18 if they fit... thoughts? Here is what it looks like now with stock 275/65r18's..

5" lift 20x12 fuel with 35" nitto ridge graplers. Full led and secaine 9" android head unit.
My truck had a 3:1 Level kit with 20x9.5 wheels with +18 offset and 35"x12.50 tires on it when i got it and there was minor trimming done with no rub.
So i would guess that 33" tires with the right offset wheel would fit with no trimming. The only thing that was trimmed was the front plastic inside the fender well covering the lights to fit the 35's.

There is a site somewhere that you can type in what has been done and it will show customers setups with that configuration on it and if they experience rub or have to trim.

    https://www.customwheeloffset.com/w...width_from=9.5&tire_height_from=285&sort=date

look for the setup you are describing here

I had a shop paint match the machined surface of my TRD wheels and clear powder coat over all. Then I added TRD caps since the 1794 doesn’t come with them. They are now two tone with the factory gloss black. Tires are 275/70/18 KO2

It is the GoRhino bolt on step rail. It is nice and wide and easy to get in and out of the truck. I had weld on rock sliders on my old Tundra and only ever used them maybe once. I stick to mostly forest roads nowadays.

Damn good Question sir. I just ordered 285/75R18 for my 2017 TRD Off-Road (w/Stock wheels), but due to the 6112 shortage I haven't put them on yet. I will be going with the 6112/5160 top setting with shims, I can let you know how they fit once I get them installed. Hopefully soon :fingerscrossed:

Thanks. that would be great to know. I guess I got lucky the shop in San Diego (The Truck Stop) had a few sets available. Then again the Bilstein North America facility is 4 miles from my home... hope you find them soon.

2.25” Dobinsons lift front and rear. Running 285/75r18 on stock rims. Only thing about this tire size is they’re expensive, heavy, and they don’t look all that big compared to other lifted trucks. Only trimming I had to do was remove front air spat and bend oem skid wings in. It did mildly rub the front sway bar, which would have never been a real issue. I now have a custom bash plate and the sway bar off. Don’t notice the height except at certain angles, when off road, and when someone riding in your truck for the first time has a tumble down because they thought the ground would come sooner. It’s also nice that they tuck inside the wheel well to minimize road and rock fling. Think I’ll be switching to 315/70r17 on. +25 offset flow formed rim next go round to get some stance, save some weight, and have more tire choices available. I’m very happy with performance of these tires except high speed highway driving with the FWC in. Think saving a little unsprung weight would make it peppier on the highway and maybe save an mpg. Are you using OEM UCA's? How do you like the Dobinson lift? I've never heard of them.

Stock UCA. They’re a good brand from Australia. Been doing overland a long time over there. I really like the lift. It handles the FWC and off-road very well. Stiffer than stock ride, but on rails. I like it that way. Because of the heavy leaf pack in the back it rides more like a 3/4 ton unloaded. But loaded up for a trip it rides magically well. They have multiple coils and two leaf packs for our trucks to choose from. EB404462-1105-4E84-BCFE-0647F807A342.jpg

Yes, thank you - “this” was what I had found initially. Looks like I should play it safe and just go with the 275/60/20 ... I just like a little more footprint but it doesn’t look promising unless I add a leveling kit. Which I have done in the past with other trucks but when I started plowing, that leveling kit caused issues with 1) Hooking up the plow and 2) the angle of the cutting edge (wasn’t adjustable) so I don’t want to go there again otherwise I would bump 1.5” - 2” in the front!

Hey everyone! I'm new here and need some help. I am getting a 3/1.5 lift put in and am looking at new wheels and tires. Seems like +25 offset is pretty common on here, my question is what if I go +30 with a 285 or 295/70/18? Anybody got input on that? Will I get any rubbing with the +25 vs +30?

I would like to know this also. I have a Stock 2020CM with 18”TRD wheels. I would like to add 1.25-1.50 spacers but want to know if this will cause rubbing. Also if I raise the front just to level the truck will I get rubbing with the spacers. I have stock tires.

Fuel torque 20x9 +20 , 275/60r20 no lift. Custom offsets doesn't even have a picture of these on a tundra yet so figured I'd post up

I'm running 275/60r20 which is the same size, I went to +20 offset which is the same as the spacers you're talking about and I'm on stock suspension. Rub slightly on front mudflap no where else. My front "wing" flaps were removed for me a long time ago when offroading

Im about to replace my stock wheels with 20/12 with -44 offset and was planning on getting 35/12.5 tires. but not that im reading on here it seems like everyone does a + offset..... Im just looking for it stick out a little more and i thought that a -44 was still pretty minor. what is yalls thoughts on it? plus all this talk of backspacing got me looking even more lol i guess decisions werent as easy as i thought... any help would be great! here is my current set up. Im running a TRD pro kit as well from @Coachbuilder1 which added an additonal 3" of lift to the stock 2" Tun.jpg

-44 will stick out quite a bit and you will definitely rub.
