Regarding the Sunroof leaking. My rig is a 2007 Crewmax limited with sunroof.

I have been very fortunate with no leaks. (knock on wood) I do take a air hose and blow out the drain tubes at least 2 times a year. It makes all the difference. In fact I take a air hose to the all the drains. (front windshield drains by wiper blades)

I hear you on the sunroofs/moonroofs but you have to stop and think for a second that maybe the guy doesn't want the sunroof but she who must be obeyed likes it. A sunroof is a small price to pay to get the truck you want and keep the marriage intact. I am sure a few divorced members can attest to the cost of that.

i'm indifferent to my sunroof. on my tundra i tried to find one without. i do like the air currents you get with rear window down/sunroof open.

but a panoramic sunroof is just pure goofy.

I like the sunroof in my '05. Dunno if I'd want a panoramic sunroof though. I'm paranoid enough about a rock being kicked up and breaking the regular sized sunroof I have now...

I’ve had a sunroof for quite some time crossing multiple vehicles. I actually like them and have never had any leaking issues.

The panoramic roof is the current trend and is very much in demand. It’s interesting to see so many folks resistant to change. We have a saying in our business that keeps everyone focused. You either adapt with the times or your business dies. We have many competitors in our industry that refused to adapt to the times and they are now irrelivet.

I really dig my sunroof. I've never had one before. My wife loves driving at highway speeds with the windows down and the beating my ears take usually ends up in an argument. With the sunroof open and rear roll down cracked , its a super nice quiet airflow and everyone is happy. Well, except my kids, they're never happy driving anywhere.

It's ok for you to want a panoramic sunroof. The great folks on this forum can help you work through your emotions about it.

I always have had one on all my vehicles but realized I never really use it. I hate the sun beating down on my head. Nothing like a nice sweat while driving.

I thought the same thing until my wife got one in our SUV, I actually find myself getting in the truck and being like "damn it's dark in here" after driving her SUV. I do like the rear window being down in the Tundra with the air flow like you said

You almost had me with those earlier rants, then you said "i'd consider turbos..." People that are ok with Turbo6's in their full size trucks raise a red flag with me. Just like a dude with no kids that volunteer coaches junior high soccer, my suspicions have been raised.

I'm 6'5" mostly torso. My SR5 has no sunroof and I have lots of headroom. Same day i bought it i also sat in a Limited with a sunroof and literally my head was touching the roof. So for me sunroofs are always a no go. I know technically you can get a Limited without a sunroof but they were and are still I imagine as rare as a unicorn fart. Hopefully new Tundra won't have that Pano sunroof crap. At least not on the SR5.

I also have a Limited without the sunroof, didn't want that or the "Premium package" although the blind spot monitors would be nice. I was happy to save the approximately $2200 without those options, but also is black and would rather of had a different color.

I do love this truck, and can't wait for winter to end so I can start driving it again. With just my wife and myself, (both retired) we are able to get by with one vehicle and keep the truck out of all the Minnesota salty roads.

Naw... My '19 is just fine. Paid it off in November '19- I like not having car payments. The gas savings from any 'hybrid' echo whatever would be offset by car payments/interest all over again (not having rebuilt the emergency/new car piggy-bank yet), and things like battery replacement costs. My mother just paid to replace her Prius batteries (along with failed computer ouch) for the second time. No savings basically when added to the gas cost. Gas is already around 3.50gal here in SoCal and I gladly pay it to be driving my Tundra over a Prius. In 15 years, after I have been putting aside money regularly for my next vehicle, I will go in and buy something new. Did this with my last Tundra, no car payments for 14 years was great. I don't need to keep up with the Jones's. Not their car, and not their debt.

No Idea. (Other then it being said that the Camry is the No#1 selling car in the US for XXX years. And The Rav4 doing the same for XXX years.) Just something he said on that video. I was watching YouTube and 2 other videos said the same thing.

Not sure about the US but I thought the Civic was the number 1 selling vehicle here.
