Sweet, I would own a Turbo Levo if I could justify it living in Louisiana. I do travel allover including places it would pay to have one but still overkill at the moment. I would go farther, see more when I go out west. Run in lowest setting until I bonk then kick it up a notch.
Wouldn't be the same climbing Burro Pass.

I can’t get one because I’d be full turbo the whole time. I’m to lazy to limit myself.

Have you ridden one on full blast? It will startle you especially in tight area.
When I rode one at Outerbike in Bentonville, they had in on full turbo and I damn near hit a fence 20ft away with a half turn of the cranks.

Upgraded from 25 to 35mm wide rims. And went to a floating rotor as well. I’m getting seriously itchy to shred some banks! :)

I dig the wider rims. I’m still running older 41mm. I still haven’t found many tires better than the DHF.
Although I’m am liking the Assegai. But dang does it grip and really increases the rolling resistance. It’s a slow tire.

I’m excited to see how these feel. I’ve had the front wheel wash out of high banks more than enough times to be a tad nervous at full rip. I hope I have more rolling resistance haha

Yeahs it’s been a fine line with wider tires and lower pressures for me. They started feeling flat and rolling. I run significantly more than my buddies. I’m right around 20 front 22 rear. I started out mid to high 20’s but a lot of close call washouts had me taking down the psi. 17 was tried and just too low for me. But I’m 190 lbs also.

Nice, with the 25mm I had to keep pressure high enough to not roll the tire over the rim and try to balance low enough pressure to grip. Just could not find a sweet spot for me at 160lbs.

I shredded my local park yesterday!!! Just all time conditions. I was also exceedingly nice to hikers therefor Strava times were mid pack. But yup I hit the fun lines all day long in February. I need a new front tire. What should I get looking at DHF vs vee rubber https://veetireco.com/product/gravity-attack-hpl/
4BD2C8DD-BDF4-4D8E-9BF5-F2E829CB7828.jpg Does this tire exist? Guess I need to call my LBS.

And yes I nose bonked into my rim a couple of times. I was going very fast. Need more volume and more sticky front. On a DHR 2.4 exo it’s a good tire for loose over hard and excellent in the rear. But in southeast butter roots and rocks you want something better in wet conditions. Let me know what I should do. I like the mullet combo for summer, burly front and aggressor rear.B4AC728F-069B-4084-9866-F86DE88F07C1.jpg

I am at 22 psi and ping ping ping
    Haha
It’s what I need for traction, but not enough to keep the rocks off the rim. I built the wheels custom for me. They are great, spank on I9. Need the I9 purple stem to make it final.

Yeah I come from DHF 2.5 background and it was awesome. This bike just came with DhR front and rear :monocle:
    0951DC27-BB80-40DB-9D7A-1DAF08395BD9.jpg
That bike was like 28.5 lbs ridiculous. I coiled it out and it was legit. Just jump and land. So efficient climbing too.

I’m running 2.6/2.3 DHF/DHRII ON MY Enduro with 31.5mm carbon wheels. It handles very well but so did the Specialized Butchers. I’ve run 23-25lbs at a weight of 205. The again, I’m 56 so I learned to do stupid stuff at a slower speed as it hurts less.

That thing is ridiculous. I’ve never really ridden a dedicated downhill rig. Though I treat my Hightower like it is. She’s my B. I weigh 225 6 feet. Expert skills, beginner fitness and balls. Done about 8 enduro races. Pretty much midpack there. Do better in cross country races if I’m in shape. I just don’t have the brain ability to over ride safe riding for enduro. And people sandbag in racing really bad. I started on road in college so mountain skills were learned after jostling in a peloton.

If you want a bike that can swap ends really fast.....this thing is 23lbs and an XL with a rake of 69*. Climbs like a goat, goes downhill like a cartwheel. I have 2 of them A5D484E3-AACA-48E1-A8B7-BF9B093B6219.jpg

Haha sounds like you have the right formula!
This is my first full dh bike, and mountain for that matter. Always been a bmx boy. I am in love with shredding down a mountain though. The addiction is really out of hand haha. I’ll tell ya, being 5’9”-160lbd on a size large dh rig I just point and shoot. The bike really makes me look 98% better than I am. It’s unreal :)
Glad I have a bud who has been sponsored so hawks all his year old, high end bikes to his friends for major discounts:)
