    Some stuff
the visuals in that are pretty outstanding. motion capture has come so far.

starting up season 2 of for all mankind tonight.

    finished the protector last night.

turkish series. takes place in instanbul. relatively low budget but the scenery is gorgeous and nice to see instanbul. cast/crew is all turkish. watch with subtitles as dub is, well, bad. only 4 seasons but they ended it well. story complete, nothing left hanging. based on a book that appears to be based on turkish myth/legend. acting gets better as series progresses. only a couple of actors were slightly flat. fight scenes pretty well choreographed and it keeps you guessing.

gave this a watch recently as well.

story is just so-so. definitely could have gone further. lots of pieces of the plot just kinda fell away. nice brain drain flick with decent action. not at the same level as what was in extraction or old guard but watchable all the same.

i have some other stuff on my list that i'll share when i get to it.

I'm another Expanse fan. This last season was so freakin' good.

I started watching Snowpiercer a few weeks ago (it made me feel warm when it was freezing out and every town around me either had blackouts or no water). I'm all caught up now so I thought I'd watch "For All Mankind" while I was waiting for the next episode to be released. Now I'm hooked on it - I made the mistake of watching an episode around my wife (I usually watch something at night because I don't sleep well). Now she's hooked and I'm feeling all guilty because I don't want to wait to watch with her... I'm right now, she's making me watch American Idol - this could be two more episodes of "For All Mankind"! Such a time suck.

Oh, WandaVision of course. I was such a Marvel Comics geek when I was growing up but gave them up when I was about 15 because it wasn't "cool..." It's been awesome for me to see them dominate in the cinema and tv world.

The trailer looks good but I'm not sure we have time to commit to a new show right now. Just watch an episode of Forensic Files or Hawaii Five-O (the original) on nights when we can get our daughter to bed at a reasonable hour.

An Operational Detachment Alpha “ODA” team from the 5th Special Forces Group (Airborne) drove overland through 500 miles of extreme terrain in Death Valley, CA.

    Curse you Perry the Platypus!
I'm on the last episode of Age of Samurai: Battle for Japan on Netflix. It's a well put together documentary about Oda Nobunaga and his path to unify Japan. It's REALLY great to watch after beating Ghost of Tsushima...

The fam and I just finished Ted Lasso season 1. Highly recommend, does have some strong sexual language though, so keep that in mind.
