    ORDER #8288 placed on 2/19

Following your PDF instructions and got to the "Master Key" registration of which I have not received an email with the outlined info required (Spam folder verified). I may be jumping into it too soon but how long is the expected wait time for this required info via email ?

First off, thanks for the credits. Much appreciated.

I have the OCM51 ECU, which seems to now be OCM52. I do not see OCM51 in the ECU list. Apologies if this has been addressed previously, but how do I update my ECU to the OCM52? Thanks.

Background: I tried flashing the updated OCM52 to my ECU with vF flash tool a week or so ago, and I got a message saying that OCM52 is not my current ECU ID, and it terminated the flash.

What type of pre made tunes are in the tune pack? Is it a series of tunes for different bolt on combinations and ecu IDs?

If you're on 1.2.9.5, an update to 1.2.9.6 is required. If you're still on an earlier version, there is no need to update just yet.

I think that at some point folks will be able to use the OVTune software to update, it's just no there quite yet.

I don't think that Tune Packs are out yet for Tundras, there may be an exception or two though.

Our flasher, credit system, all that is ready for the tundras, flashing works perfectly, flashes even faster than before,

tune packs are available and we are providing those as quickly as possible.

The upgrade cal part we are still finalizing. Upgrading calibrations in toyota isn't a super easy thing to do, it requires knowing communication of the previous (current version), unlocking the ECU in this version, then sending it different data. It's a challenge but we are almost done with it.

OVTune, as for the early adopters, should we send a request now, on Zendesk, to have our tunes converted to work on VF tuner? Or should we wait?

    Thanks.

Curious too, since I already sent an email one or two weeks back before the big updates to get my tunes converted to vftuner

If you have your master key already, software setup, and ready to go then yes let's get them converted.

Also, sorry for the multiple updates, but we released on (same version) about an hour ago. Please install it.
(If not no worries the flasher just prompts "unable to send" ) at the end but still flashes just fine.

Important note: if you had your ECU Updated, you won't be able to flash older version tunes.
Example if your ECU ID is now "0CF55" but your old tunes were "0CF54" you can't flash them anymore

Sent email to Zendesk to get into the queue for Tune Pack and file conversion of last tune.

For reference, I included Tune Pack order number, Master Key (by replying to email in which it was originally sent), and attached the most recent received .p5f tune.

I'm hoping that is all that is required and not overkill all at the same time.

Yeah, don’t get answers to my questions on there either. I’ve been in the OVTune game for a while now and ran the tune on my Tacoma. It’s always been a shit show with regard to getting clear information and questions answered.

No, but some of the posts above indicate that something needs to be converted if I already have VFTuner and a master key which I do from my Tacoma.

Thanks, nothing out there for my truck yet though.

We're simply forming a queue requesting that our .p5f format calibration from the old flasher be converted to .vft format so that they'll work in the new flasher and edits can be made by us or a professional tuner. The '21s will likely be in .vft format from the start, so there's nothing for you to do.

    Lunar Rock with trail boxes
If you start patreon or sort, I'm sure a lot of us willing to contribute to help us to understand how to use this, I have basic automotive software architecture understanding, but this is confusing the hell out of me, which frustrates me because I think there's a great potential on this platform.

I'm assuming this in a way is like an open source operating software that allows us to modify fuel/timing tables and others to fit our need, I guess like Megasquirt but more vehicle specific, but how do we know how much we can adjust to be in safe perimeter? there's no one out here in Canada knows vftuner and I would like to get dyno-tuned, will this be close enough to say Cobb Accessport so they can build on it?

I think that's the point of the forum, seems like there's a few posts on there from people that have some understanding and put together videos and guides on stuff. I think that will get more flushed out and community "experts" will pave the path of making tutorials on how to mess with the software, where as OV is more focused on just releasing it. Which I actually like that approach, since (besides right now) we won't be waiting on him to release stuff and can just tweak it ourselves instead of waiting for a case by case basis.
