Is your rig stock or leveled? I was thinking the same tire set up but on a aftermarket wheel close to stock offset.

I'm not really feeling the TRD Tacoma wheels anymore.

Does anyone have pictures or own a red 1st gen with bronze rims? I came across 3 sets of rims and i am having a hard time deciding which route i want to go. If not i will just buy all 3 and decide when i have them lol

No, the OEM are 27+ pounds, 17X7.5 15mm offset. These are 24+ pounds, 17X8.5 0 offset. Both have the same backspace.

Not a big fan of the snowflakes. For OEM wheels, I'm a big fan of the split 5-spokes. Id still run them if I didnt need spacers.

These are still my favorite OEM Tundra Wheels by far.
I wish they were 17" and not 18".
They came on the Darrell Waltrip Edition.

My friend has a DW edition, and I wish he would put some bigger tires on them! they look tiny with stock size.

18"s can look good in my opinon though, with the right tire size. (photo example of 18")

    Yeah . . . I agree.
I think I was reading somewhere that to keep the factory/stock overall tire diameter you need to run a 55 series tire or something.
I could be wrong, but that's been the deal breaker for me.
I'm an old suck, and like to keep my stuff stock . . . but I do like looking at all the trick stuff people do here.

Ah ya, if you were going to keep stock size then Id definitely stick to 16-17" rims. This guys are probably 33s and I think stock tundras are around 31" maybe?

These came in 17s on FJ Cruisers. A bonus is they were +5 offset, compared to +15 for OEM Tundra wheels...I see them on CL and FB marketplace a couple times a year.

Same here. I never cared for the snowflake wheels but these that @abcinv has are some of my favorite. I picked one up from a junkyard to serve as my spare.
