Figured I would start a thread on what everyone seems to think the best wipers are. I just spent close to three weeks, and a couple different kinds of wipers to finally find a set I can be happy with. I had the Bosch Icons, and within a week, they started to streak, and not wipe right in the middle of the wiper. They were also horrible in snowstorms, and seemed to run a little small on their sizes. Overall, they were a disappointment for $20 each. After a week of that bull shit, I went to O'Reilly Auto Parts, in search of some better ones. The guy in the store said the most popular blades he had were the "TRICO Ice" blades, and at $11 ea, I figured I'd give them a shot. After figuring out exactly how their clips worked (they are a little different than stock/BOSCH clips), I got them on. So far, they are great. No noise at either end of the wiper blade cycle, unlike the BOSCH's that were really loud, and they don't streak at all. They work well in the snow, and ice too. So, FWIW, I'm on week #2 with the TRICO Ice blades, and they are better than the stock blades, and the Bosch Icons.

I haven't had much luck with finding perfect blades. Streaks with most or they don't last as long as they should. Least problems with the rainex winter ones.

I usually buy the Goodyear ones at costco. Great price and solid performers. Haven't needed wipers on the Tundra yet though, only 3 1/2mo old at the moment and the OE ones have been fine. Minor streaking

I'm still rocking the stock ones, but this should be good info for when its time to pick up new ones!

Got rid of my stock ones last month....they're horrible.

Picked up some BOSCH Icon wipers...I've had them on my last Tundra, and Tacoma and they performed well.

I just replaced my stock wipers with a set of Rainex Latitudes. I ran a set of them on my 06 taco and got a year out of them, and my taco was outside all the time rain or shine. Put them on my wifes rig which is garage kept and got the same results. I will buy them again.

Still have the stock wipers on my 2010 DC and they are doing great (for some reason). I've never had luck with wiper blades until these. No streaks and quiet still. Subscribing to this thread though, my days must be numbered.

Still on stock as well...after over 2 years. I feel like I've barely used them... Just got the wife some Cosco ones (Goodyear) and they seem to be working well.

15 months and I'm still on stock. They wipe well, but are NOISY. I used the Rain X Latitude on my Trooper and they worked great. We don't get the snow and ice (except last year when we had a foot), but the rubber kept the sand and salt out.

My passenger side one (i think its stock still) has a big spot in the center now that doesn't get touched at all. Going to actually have to buy new ones now. Thanks for the recommendations. I will let you know what i get and how they work.

Glad I bumped into this thread, not a fan of the base ones that came along with the truck, little "cloudy" to it. Looking into the Trico ones, holding out pretty good so far?

Normally I go with Bosch Icons. Heard good things about OEM Toyota Sightline Hybrids. Picked up a pair at the stealer for just under $25. I think they are as good as the Icons IMO.

I've got the Valeo frameless Ultimate on mine. Very good in my opinion. No streaking, no chatter, very quiet.

I went with the trico neoforms - I didn't like them in the beginning because they actually gripped the windshield too much and skipped sometimes. Now that I've had them for a while they don't do it anymore and they're 100% streak free and quiet. Best blades I've had in a long time in any vehicle.

Still running my stock wiper blades on my 14 CM, 46k on them no runs, no streaks, no errors.

But now since I have posted this I will probably need a new set soon... my dealer highly recommended the sight lines over OEM replacements..hmmm??

I stick with the OEM wipers. When I clean my windshield I make sure to clean the blades with the windshield scrub tool to get the grit off them from the road. I think this helps them last a bit longer.

I was driving to town on Sunday and tried to spray/clean my windshield and my drivers side wiper just flew off. Luckily it didn’t hit the guy behind me. Never had that happen. Picked up the Bosch icons. Last pair they had. So far so good. Tried them this morning at 15 below. No issues.

I use rain-x silicone advantedge on my daily and it works well. No streaks. I’ve had good luck w Bosch icons but I like these rain-x a little better. I have also had good luck with PIAA wipers. I think the silicone wipers are good for the most part. They are also the most expensive.

I've been running the Michelin wipers from Costco for years. Cheap enough I swap them out every spring or everytime I get a new windshield (at least once a year). Haven't had any major problems with them at all. Might try Bosch this spring.

Agreed, granted they don’t have as low profile as OEM but the price point is hard to beat.

    Evening all,
personal preference is "Anco or Trico" getting tougher to find them. Once went to Auto Zone and asked for them and was told that "they don't make them anymore", and when challenged by me, the sales person states "we don't sale them". Went across the street to another auto parts house and got them. Don't buy the refills anymore just complete blades and have been very happy with either brand. It saddens me that when I go out to the parking lot at work that often my coworkers are using the wipers to clear the frost and effectively shredding the blades just to not have them work in the summer and complain. any way just my .02 cents.

Rain X Quantum here. Going on 2 years. Bosch has a new wiper out, might try it. Has anyone heard of Rain Eater ? Small company out of Erie, Pennsylvania. $45 for the pair. Great reviews.

Bosch Icons are by far the greatest wipers i have ever had the honor of owning. first mod i do to every vehicle. $20 a side but ive remote started vehicles with their wipers scraping ice for 10 minutes and they still wipe flawlessly. cant say enough great things about them. if Bosch made a truck, id be first in line.
