I bought my 2017 SR5 Crewmax Tundra earlier this month for my birthday. It came with a Toytec 3” (what I assume) lift kit with the metal spacers for the front and the blocks for the rear. Truck has stock shocks on front and rear. Any time a hit a large bump, the rear suspension feels like it’s slamming down hard even though it’s soft going over. Small bumps in the road are smooth to go over. Any ideas?

Either the shocks are done and you have no dampening, hitting the bump stops. Or, the shocks are maxed out and youre topping out and theyre clunking.

Yeah I just reread the original post and seeing as he is running OEM shocks, I would go with that.

Thanks y’all for the help. Since stock shocks are not the correct size, would I need to upgrade the rears to height adjustable ones like RC and Bilstein?

Yes. All of the kits that I had looked at came with longer shocks, or shock extensions, even if a small rear block was used in the rear.
