Good thing is discount tire will let you warranty the tires out at 4/32.

The only thing I really didn’t like with these tires was when new. The tread depth made the truck “wander” a bit until I had around 5k miles on them.

    Was that on the GMC?
I did not experience that on the Tundra. In fact I was surprise at how solid it felt, because I installed the tires the same time as the lift and was concerned about it being a little more top heavy and affecting driveability, but there was nothing like that.

Thank you all for the feedback.

I'm at a dead split between these and the Wildpeak AT3W.

Yep. I read the online reviews on these tires, and it was pretty common depending on what tire size you went with and how deep the tread was. It wasn't horrible by any means. Two other people at work have them with similar experiences.

I would recommend these tires. These were a huge step up from Michelin AT2's.

Ordered from my local shop today. Getting mounted tomorrow. Went with the Coopers. After an exhausting amount of research and reading forums. Tundras still has the most extensive amount of posts on these tires of anywhere else on the internet.

They're gonna look mean on the Armada.

How did you get white letters? Mine didn't have them.

But if I did it would be OUT.

@BrakeDust looking through the sizes about 75% of them are listed as "RWL", I have no idea how/why they don't do it across the entire model line.

The noise level in the vehicle is exactly the same as my HTs. The road feel and steering feel is actually smoother with the AT3s.

I'm not easily impressed and I generally take all forum posts as being 60% accurate. But in this case I'm extremely satisfied and couldn't be happier with my ultimate decision.

Just driving around this evening I do not feel any noticeable decrease in power or increased braking effort. I'm sure MPG will take a slight hit, but the trade off to go 10 ply is well worth it for our use.

Not that I had a choice, mine are blackwall, but they would have been in if I had. My Tundra is blacked out, so having them out would have looked weird, IMO.

I got my 33” Coopers on right before the ice and snow hit. These tires are awesome. Very quiet and secure feel on pavement, and deep snow drifts and solid ice did not stop me- I had to drive my staff in and out of work for the 4 days our weather was bad. I didn’t need the chains I carry at all.

Black walls out for me, as I had just PC’d my wheels black too.

When these babies wear out, I’m buying more. 8EB36CD5-1D04-4F81-9BD8-318610344721.jpg

These look great! Are these on stock suspension or do you have the front leveled? Also, how much did you pay to PC the stock wheels, if you don't mind me asking? I'm looking to run the same size tire and keep the stock offroad wheels on my black CM.

Looks like these tires are handling snow and ice with easy. I was going to get the at3 4s but the price difference is only $30 for a set of 4 xlt. I want to stay with the factory size 275/55r20. How's the ride with a 20" E rated tire?

Thanks! I put 5100’s up front on the middle setting for level. The best deal I found on sandblasting and powdercoating was $100 per wheel. I went with 60% gloss.

I think it depends on how you pump them up. Look at the charts within:
    https://www.tundras.com/threads/how-to-determine-your-new-air-pressure-with-lt-tires.56860/

That thread also lists a website where you can put in your factory tires and the new LT tires and it will give you a recommended pressure. I think for my coopers I could run them at 42psi and match the factory setup.

But I run them at 50psi for daily use. They're noticeably harder compared to the stock duratracs were when run at the doorjamb pressure. If I were chasing comfort I'd drop closer to 40. For towing I'm going with 70, but I already know that feels pretty brutal when not towing and just tooling around town.

At 40-43% tread, they did pretty good in the muck. I wasn’t spinning them hard to clean out either. Moved three trailers from the same muddy area 3750/5600/7300 lbs and never felt like I was going to dig down deep.
