Installed my power locking tailgate lock yesterday on my 2019 DC Sport, pretty easy to install plug and play, I will say the hardest part was crawling around underneath the truck. Works great, well worth the investment.

I probably shouldn't have done this since I already love how my truck looks and feels. However I came across a deal here I felt too good to pass up and take the chance on that I'll be happy with them. So today I met @Bronzeback and picked these up. He's a great guy and you can trust him.

Since I've added the bedslide, tools, recovery gear, sliders, and gen y hitch I've noticed I lost most my rake even with a +3 shackle. I want to say I was only about .5" higher in rear the way I sit without any additional weight. I'm hoping these give me my rake back without adjusting the feel too much. Alcan stock +500. I'm gonna replace the rear bushings with coach builders. They'll have to go on another day. I'm hoping I get my rake back and when I tow or add additional weight it don't squat as much while still keeping my ride quality.

Tested the waters with spray tinting on my 3rd brake light. Looks pretty good in my opinion. See how it lasts. Doesn't call for it on the directions but I feel it should have a clear coat or something.

Im waiting until it gets a little darker out to check. I sprayed pretty dark though ( multiple coats) the less coats the lighter it will be but from looking now when it's light out it's a little more dim.

edit* I only did it to 3rd brake light. I bought after market dark tail lights. Just waiting for them to come in

Drove mine up to Mt. Hood in a snowstorm for a little snowboarding. Then used the remote start to warm it up from the ski lift when we were done for the day.

Lol...no. We got up there very early, so I decided to park as close to the lodge as I could. They had those cones to mark the start of that row of parking. The rear one was actually just under my rear tire when I got out, so I moved it before running into the lodge to take care of some business before the day started.

I’m thinking of deleting the chrome with vinyl wrap on front bumper parts and possibly delete some of the chrome on the inside of my 16 Sr5. Any tips?

Check out AJT designs for the interior. I’m not much help on the vinyl wrap.

It got up to 54°F today, so my truck got a quick wash focused on the undercarriage, a tire rotation @ 3k, and McGard tailgate lock. I have the factory tailgate lock, but for $15 this is cheap peace of mind if I ever leave my truck for 15 min with the tailgate down.

Just did an AWD conversion by swapping in a Land Cruiser transfer case. I still have a few little issues to work out but it's physically together and the truck drives great! I'll make a thread whenever I get the minor issues sorted out, currently just has flashing 4lo and 4hi lights and no way to control the t-case so it only has it's default AWD drive mode. Being able to shift into lock and lo-range isn't a big deal to me but fooling the truck into thinking everything is OK so the lights stop flashing will be the next step.
