What's got me confused is your lack of status light...I can't seem to find any info on where it is on your 2002 Tundra, if it exists at ll...but I did find a link where someone says just like you that their Tundra RS3000 system doesn't have a status light either...

If I had one, I'm guessing it would be where the square is?

    0221211415.jpg

Behind the dash I see this box in electrical tape. Looks like there could be a white button to push but this is different from the pics I saw for the RS3000. It might be unrelated.

Interesting, well at least the owner somewhat cared, maybe that means it wasn't thrashed on for the previous years without oil changes ? Lol

I was over at a VW forum and saw this photo. Interestingly it hasn't gotten the attention over there that it might get here. This must clearly be a more civilized group.

Don't let a kid out smart you.
The rich D bags where I live are the worst drivers. they do what ever speed they feel whether that is 5 over or 5 under and then they try and get through the stop signs as fast as they can. And I cruise faster on our twisty section of hwy 1 than most of the locals.

a friend of mine said that bumpers that are welded on will help more in an accident then bolt on bumpers. Is that true?

No. If anything you’ll end up with even more frame damage.

honestly armor is great for lower speed offroad accidents. High speed, you likely will do just as much damage as a normal bumper. ARB is the only one with crumple zones

Thats what I was thinking. My friend who said it, is not the kind of person I can say “i told you so”. But just curious for future arguments :)

Yup, if anything a rigid off road bumper will do more damage and make the impact harder at high speeds.

Does unplugging the soldered bulb from the cigarette lighter ring affect anything else? I still get power to the outlet with the key on.

Use a string to get the lengths then hit up a Napa or welding shop and they'll typically make custom length cables. Crimping large gauge wires requires a decent tool to get it done right.

4 gauge is good for up to 200amps at 6ft so that or anything lower is a decent choice.

Swapped spark plugs on the sienna and found this little chipmunk suntanning. After grabbing his tail and it falling off it was safe to assume he’d been there a wee bit too long.
