Ok ty those are one of the ones I looked into for around 60 bucks just didn’t want to get the cheaper ones without knowing the functionality

I went weathertech in channel ... after install I was second guessing to rip them off or keep them. When the widow would top out you would hear the glass contact the visor. After they “settled in” the gasket it now goes up without any noticeable noise and fits great !

That’s what I’m worried about and hate for it to eat the top of my limousine tint off due to friction and being so tight

It was grating my nerve for a of couple days worrying about the tint also. My son has them on his F-150 ... he had advised me to wait and pop them in during the hot summer months for them to settle in easier.
Nope ... Dad knows best and pops them in during dead of winter ... I should of listened lol

I’ve got the weather tech low profile one, there is a click when the windows reach the top, but it isn’t that bad, I rarely lower the window. I like the low pro design.

I had AVS on my taco. No complaints. After 14 years, there was some minor scratching in the top of the glass, but not bad. You only see it if the window is partially down. Never an issue with the visor coming loose. I’d put them on the Tundra if I was still in Texas, but don’t really feel the need with the summer heat in NC.

I plan on getting AVS in channel, had them on my Tacoma. They are cheap but good. Just like my women

My scratches are also in the glass.
It isn't limited to the tint.

    But they look so great...:D

I ended up putting 3M tape on the front visors.
    The rears come with it..

They look nicer but will wear on the glass and/or tint.
I even take a q-tip and run silicone spray in that channel against the plastic visor that touches the glass, but it still scratches.

I had tape on visors on my 2005.
    Can't remember who made them.
Every 2 or 3 years I had to remove them and replace the tape as it would give out and they would flap in the wind....:eek2:

I only use in channel rain guards AVS; they work perfectly no issues. I did not want nor like the look of the wind deflectors stuck on the outside.

Weather tech on my wife’s escape for 3 years. No tint, slight scratches. I thought they had increased wind noise but soon realized it was tire/road noise reflected off the deflectors. She don’t mind. Keep’em
