We've had at least 3 inches of accumulation since I got to work at 5pm.

We did at our house. I think most here do. We may not always get snow, but it routinely gets below freezing in winter times.

I've read about Texas. Yuge bummer.

After shoveling snow, scraping ice, and spreading salt for four hours last night...

I hatched up a little plan for easier snow clearing.

Pallet, and a pack mule. 100 pounds of salt for weight in the front of my new plow. Lol
    https://youtu.be/EyHhe06_SBo

It took Wyatt and I about 30 minutes to do the otherside of this sidewalk. After the plowing was done, we squeegee-d the wet snow/ice off the pavement, and spread salt.

Had that walk way cleaned up in 12 minutes flat. Lol.

Last Friday pops had me pick up one of these from Lowe's.

It kinda sucked doing the porch last Saturday. Shovel would have been the way to go there.

At work with machines available? I'll choose easy over the flammenwerfer any day.

We had one of those when I was a kid. We used it primarily for controlled brush fires.
Occasionally, Dad would use it to light the bbq...

We call them Pear Burners down here. Mainly because we use them to burn the hairs off prickly pear fruit. Mine sees the most use as a weed control device though.

Recorded a little time lapse of a drive when we were in Alabama last week. I guess I figured the south would be flat but I was super surprised at the ‘San Fran esque’ up/down hills n roads there. Very beautiful area but I don’t think videos ever do elevation changes justice.
Hopefully you don’t get carsick watching this lol

I think I finally found my backup camera! Stumbled across this site and they have a sleek looking camera that has pretty good specs. Not sure if anyone on here has tried it yet, but I'm happy to play guinea pig.

I was going to go that route and drill into mine, but this seemed a great option and cheaper than my backup camera. Only 1 review (5 stars) but the other truck options have great reviews. Plus, it has a 3 year no questions warranty.
