We got a dusting yesterday and overnight.
No weight in the back of my truck, just 4HI. My biggest grievance is the people on the roads who should be at home or on surface streets instead of highways.

Best driving experience ever was the entire month of March/April 2020 when everyone was locked in their homes in fear of a virus. Nobody was on the road excepting a few others. Stores that where open were easy to navigate. Once they discovered the virus was not at HomeDepoot they started wandering out like zombies clogging up the mess. :annoyed:

Humans (Californians) are flocking to UT by the day. Soon enough it'll be your typical left leaning western metropolis just like Colorado, Idaho, Montana. Hell even Wyoming is seeing it.

That's a shame. They broke that state now they want to break some others. It won't get better. With everyone's nose buried in social media news feeds and those news feeds in turn controlling them things will continue on the current trajectory.

A lack of robustness and the inability to think critically is the problem.

Without getting political, "they" may not have broken California, rather they may be leaving because it has been driven to hell by people who "they" don't agree with. I would love to leave but family is the anchor keeping my wife and I here.

Us California people get the stink eye from every other state and usually for things we have no part of.

Sorry, I realize now how offensive that may have come across. "They" should be read as the people making the policies.

None taken, but have an open mind as many California residents are just looking to escape the madhouse we are in. If they really supported the crap that got us where we are, they would stay.

My initial comment was meant to imply everyone is leaving California for greener pastures. But, politics aside, I'll go on record stating that Californian transplants are horrible drivers in mtn country :stirthepot:

I'll say they tend to be horrible drivers no matter what the conditions. I shake my head in parking lots on sunny days here.

Not to mention CA is the 4th-5th largest economy in the world. I hear constant shit talk about CA but the reality is that if you fail, we are all screwed. You also grow a lot of the produce we need.

I've always wondered the correlation between true Californian's here in Colorado, or those just driving a rental from the airport. I feel like every rental by default has Cali plates. Who am I truly cursing at on the interstate? Someone from California or someone from.... Ohio?

Never feel bad for swearing at Ohio drivers.
They're a bunch of left lane cruising animals.

Coolifornia not California. I’d move there for the Fresh Vegatables, but I planted my favorite Moon Crystal here on the Island and can’t stray to far away lest I lose my Mojo Powers.

Everyone in every city, claims that some group are bad drivers. I never bought into it. There are bad drivers in every city in America. Some cities may have more or they may just be more assholes. We have southern hospitality down here and it really does impact the way we drive. TN is the only place I've lived where people completely pull over for a funeral procession. When I lived in Florida they didn't do this. I also noticed that when the power is out at an intersection, people in FL would just blow right through it. No one would treat the non-functioning traffic light like a 4 way stop.

Around here we slow down and let people merge most of the time. I have no idea if our bad drivers are transplants or not.

Slowing down to allow people to merge is rewarding bad behavior.
The whole point of ramps is to get up to speed and then merge.

First time I visited Puerto Rico, I noticed the intersections were a complete chaotic mess. People would lean out their windows and start flailing their arms in some Enchanted Island Hand Language. I took note and did the same as nobody uses their turn signals anyways. The Hand Jive works in USA which surprises people when I use it.

One time we got pull over by the Local Cops for a Payday Shakedown. My buddy driving from Philippines was as dark as I like my women and they came up and started the Island Jibber with him. He said in plain English I don’t understand a thing you just said.
