Looking forward to the road trip in my 2021 Trail Edition. Crank the truck and met with a really rough idle, then traction control light comes on, then TSS error, tow brake control error! The Truck has only 2200 miles on it.
Had to take my wife’s car to pick up the mount. Four hours to mull over what the heck could be going on! Did I get a Lemon? WTF!!!
Got home, scanned for a code and came back P0307. Pop the hood and start looking around. Just drove the Truck the night before. I noticed a bunch of leaves in the space between the valve cover and the intake. How strange I thought. Then I found the giveaway...rat droppings!!! Overnight a freaking rat made a nest and ate through my wiring harness! Luckily my insurance will cover it but what a pain in the arse! I’ve been driving since 1981 and this is a first for me. I’ll be taking it to the dealer so I won’t run into any warranty issues down the road. Thought I’d share!

    Alot of them
The soy based wiring that Toyota uses doesn't help but if it's cold up there, they were looking for heat.
