Slide the shifter over into S6 and hit the Tow/Haul button. Takes my truck from feeling lazy to ridiculous instantly and is free.

I have a lift and 35s, heavy sliders and front bumper. With bullydog performance tune, dirty deeds exhaust still averaging over 15mpg and no issues with acceleration

What does turning off traction control and limited slip function do? Just makes it easier to roast the tires or what?

Traction control will cut power and Auto LSD will apply the brake. Not ideal if you’re trying to put down max power.

Over-size tires, and added weight will kill acceleration.
A dirty air filter, MAF, and throttle body won't help things.

How I increased horse power and torque on a budget.

Dont get me wrong, my truck still accelerates with no problem...but there is definitely a difference...riding on stock rims/Michelin’s since new and as far a fuel goes, I don't care about mileage, just means I have to stop more on trips...needs the bigger gas tank more so now than before.

You go back to stock tires/wheels (32 inch height) you would notice a huge difference.

You definitely would. I was very pleased with how the bullydog tuner made the truck feel. I originally got it to use for fuel economy but once I did the performance tune there was no turning back

Of course, that's hand calc'd too, right? The DIC can't be used unless it's an argument with your better half...at least, on mine...

Yes hand calculated but that’s also probably not accurate because my speedometer reads about 4mph lower than I’m actually going due to tire size. Probably wouldn’t add much difference though. Also keep in mine that 85% of my driving is commuting. I’m sure if I did primarily city driving it would be a lot different

That’s what a Pedal Commander does 100% of the time, without the Truck holding gears

Just wanted to throw my thoughts if for anyone reading this post...I just installed the Pedal Commander and I love it...I realize it does not add power to the truck, but man what a difference...it really feels like a totally different truck! So much more responsive! It makes the truck fun to drive! Totally recommend!
