Hello all I ordered a 1794 in army green with Trd package towards the end of September and still have not received any word on the build date should I be worried on not receiving it or is this normal. Thank you in advance!!

 

4.5 months without an allocation is not normal, but we are far from normal times. My allocation took like 2+ months and by the time it gets here it actually gets here it will be like 5 months total. What did your dealer said?

 

here in texas, ordered army green trd sport on oct 13th and still no allocation. so i believe it has to do with army green.

 

Thank you for the replies I am in wisconsin and I talked to the sales manager yesterday and she said it was the color and the trim level why it was taking so long. But I did a search on autotrader and they have 5 of them on the east coast. Her excuse was they are only going to ship 4 to the Midwest this month. I’m afraid if I try going to a different dealer it will be too late to get one now.

 

Deposits are refundable. Expand your search and see if you can find a dealer with one already allocated. If not, maintain your allocation request with your current dealer. Things are moving incredibly slow these days, so we're all stuck here waiting. Mine was supposed to be 8-10 weeks and it's going to end up being like twice that barring any additional delays.

 

i am following same strategy. keeping my order and trying to find one, but i cant even get one from any dealer here in texas

Ordered (with deposit) 2021 Calvary Blue Limited double cab w/TRD Off Road Pkg. on November 4, 2020. On February 1, 2021, spoke with Gen. Mgr. of dealership who informed me that the build date was February 10. today, February 12, the sals manager called to tell me that truck would be shipped on Feb. 22, and would likely arrive by March 1.

 

Ordered a 2021 Crewmax SR5 TRD Sport this past week. Dealer is optimistic it will arrive by end of March.

Im in Canada. In the GTA. I ordered a SR5 crewmax Off-Road Premium Cement Grey on Jan. 10. I haven’t gotten any update. I need the truck by June. So I have 4 months. The dealership seems confident the truck will get here.

I hate waiting in limbo with no information. I am tempted to get one off the lot. But it’s not what I ordered.

 

Because they screwed up (ie., coded for the wrong upholstery color for my November 2020 order for a cavalry blue limited double cab - which arrives this week) my dealership placed a follow up order for an identical truck with the correct color interior. The follow up order was accepted by Toyota San Antonio plant last week, with a build date of March 29, and an estimated shipping date 3 weeks thereafter. I spoke with my dealership sales manager yesterday and he said not to expect the truck until late April or early May. The plant was shut down all last week because of power supply issues following the extreme cold weather in Texas. Make sure you go over all the specs on your order with your sales person so as to avoid the delay’s I’ve experienced. Good luck!

 

Hello everyone the I called my salesman who informed me that there is an army green 1794 to be built in April and is allocated to a dealer in the Midwest crossing fingers that I can get it!! My pick up date wouldn’t be until may if I can get it that would be 8 months of waiting I’m going nuts!!!!

 

Ordered a 21 cm in lunar rock 2 weeks ago just waiting to get a date. I know its going to be a long road.lol

 

I ended up canceling my original order and went to a different dealer that was getting an army green 1794. It gets built on the 28th so sometime in may I will be getting it what a long road!!!

 

Did they give u a refund on your deposit?

 

Yes they did I got all my money back and gave them a bad review.

 

Which parts did you get to color match the front of the 1794?

 

Did they juat keep pushing the date back?

 

They didn’t give me anything I had to constantly call them and they could never tell me anything. If you ever buy a Toyota or any other manufacturer in wisconsin don’t use Bergstrom.

 

I put down a deposit on a platinum MGM 2 weeks ago but found a MGM 1794 thag will be at another dealer next week. I may just go with the 1794 next week than wait. My order is scheduled to be built on 4/26 and delivered 2-3 weeks after that. How likely is that timeline?

It probably is pretty accurate it’s up too you if you want that trim. But if it was me I would go for it tundras are nonexistent by me they are sold before they hit the lot.

 

Heard today that the truck has been built and should arrive May 7 - 11. I mistyped the month in the previous post. Dealer was optimistic it would arrive by end of April (not sure why I typed March) and it is looking like he was pretty close. Not bad for a pandemic and other shortages.

 

I orderd a limited cement 21 on march 23rd build date is April 19th how much longer after that will i have to wait untill it hits the lot?

 

My ‘21 Platinum with a 3/21 manufacture date arrived at my dealer in Baton Rouge, La on 3/8.

 

Mine was 2-3 weeks after build it arrived at port, then another week or so to get a spot in loadline and off to dealer. Safe to say 30 days.

 

And my order placed on oct 13 last year still dnt have build date
