I just put the RC struts on my first gen. It's too early to say how they will hold up but the ride is actually better than my factory suspension. Of course, my factory suspension was fairly old. I don't have any complaints yet but I'll let you know if my struts explode.

I'm not sure why you say that Rough Country is "not synonymous with quality". Those coil-overs that you linked to come with a three year warranty. Icons and Fox coil-overs only come with a one year warranty. That alone is worth the risk. Just sayin'. And for what it's worth, I have the N3 6" coil-overs installed on my '18 and they are great! They ride much better than stock.

I say that because most of the stuff they used to sell were spacer lift stuff ("riding rough country"). Sometimes it's hard to change your opinion from your first impression of a person or company. That being said, I have noticed an uptick in their offerings recently like the coilovers you have and the higher end coilovers as well some of the light bars and bumpers. I'm glad to hear they work good for you and gives me more confidence to take a second look at their stuff.
