    Toyota's top of the line trim is Platinum/1794 at $55k MSRP. Domestics are $75k +. I know they come with a few more bells and whistles but if you think Toyota is going to introduce a ground up vehicle with cutting edge technology and sell that for $60k we are all dreaming......

    1794/Platinum = $65k to $72k
    Limited = $54-$62k
    SR5 = $42k - $55k

    SR5 has the most packages, cab and bed configurations and largest range of options and that will continue.

    I have said it many times on here and would be willing to bet we see large price increases across the board.

    Domestic market is tightening up big time also. I do all of the buying and handling of the money for our company. We are setup on CAP/Commercial pricing and discounts for GM/Chevy. Last year I bought 1 Tacoma, 2 Tundras, 2 1500 Denali, 3 2500HD gas, 2 F250 gas, and 2021 Yukon Denali. Not a chance in hell you will see $12-$15k off any of those vehicles.

    Right now, on the popular trims of 1500 Denali, 2500HD, 1500 AT4, you will be lucky to get 5% off MSRP plus factory incentives. Their inventories are low and people are gladly paying $70k plus for these vehicles. When I bought my Chevy 2500HD 3 months ago, I had to go 260 miles from Knoxville, TN to find a 2500HD, LT trim, 6.6 gas. We live in a county of 500,000 people with 6 dealerships around me and not one had a 2500 HD in stock nor did they know when they would get one besides a Duramax High Country for $80k.....

    In all seriousness, I actually am doubting that Toyota really is going to introduce their completely revamped line this year. With everything going on it really does not make a lot of sense if you want to know the truth.

    Two reasons:

    1. Interest rate was the same. *shrug*
    2. Just on the way outside chance that something goes sideways financially (e.g., job loss, we have to move, etc.) Both wife and I work, but we make sure that we can get along on one income just in case.

    I just wanted to say that this pricing info is accurate. I've owned 3 Rams (two brand new) and $10-12k off a $45-55k sticker is definitely a thing.

    I just sold my 2019 Ram because of quality and dealer issues, although it was a great vehicle minus the issues. With my lack of driving in 2021 I'm holding off for a 2022 - The 2022 Ram (maybe a TRX) or the 2022 Tundra interest me. I am worried about sticker shock with the new Tundra, as I don't expect much discounting, but we'll see what Toyota brings to the table.

    I would have a Ram TRX in the driveway already except the best I could do on that was MSRP - which means it wasn't a $20k premium but more like a $30k premium in the end.

    I’d like to see a variable displacement normally aspirated v12 engine myself in the new Tundra.

    spot on, we know price is going up but they won't come out with a new tundra and go from 53 to 63K or something

    makes sense, In my region (St Louis area) seems .9 or 1.9% is common on 60 months usually 72 is 3-5%. I do see 1.9% on 72 sometimes, rarely any special on a 84 terms.

    Now, if Toyota decided to play their game and came out with a twin turbo 3.0 litre V6 in "Diesel", then that would promote a major bitch slap to Ford and the rest.
    And have it available througout their truck lines.

    Yep, that's what I got (1.9% on 72 months). Then again, I bought last March; they were BEGGING to make sales then. Not only did I get almost 7K off and 1.9% financing on 72 months, I also got $200 credit on parts towards my truck, first 4 oil changes free, and a lifetime (unlimited miles, unlimited time) engine warranty. :)

    I didn't realize you were just down the road from me. (Fort Leonard Wood)

    So you're worried about sticker shock on a Tundra but you're willing to shell out for a TRX?

    The main reason why I haven't sold my truck, purchased April 2019, is that I have 0% for 60 months. Free money.

    Man I'd love to get 7k off now, best quote so far is around 4k. Was that with a rebate or was it all dealer discount?

    If you're going to sell it, now is the time. You're right that keeping the loan open doesn't cost you any interest money, but Tundras are commanding high prices right now.

    If this next gen is truly a "world beater", expect what you'd be able to make on it to go down pretty quickly once it's unveiled. Maybe not by much though.

    Did you get your Tremor?

    Might be true, but it's always cheaper to keep your current vehicle, especially when you've dumped money into it.

    Cheaper to keep her. Btw, any environmental person will also tell you that, no matter how much your truck pollutes, keeping the one you have is by far better for the environment too.

    I honestly think if the new 2022 Tundra is released and drops the V8 , the value will stay high especially since production was down for the 20/21 models

    I think like $1500 of it was a rebate; the rest was dealer discount. I *think*. (That was a year ago and everyone was OMG'ing about CoVID-19 at the time. LOL)
