    I LOOKED ALL OVER THE INTERNET, CALLED AND PM'D CB, I want to buy some shims for my 2017 Tundra CM 4X4 but can not find anywhere that sells them, does CB make them anymore!

    Any one know a place to buy them and are they made for the Tundra 3rd gen!

    Are these made specifically for the Tundra's and does it matter what Gen?


    I saw them on http://www.boss4x4s.com/Coachbuilder-Front-Strut-Shims_p_352.html but was wondering if the site is light being I never hear of it! I'll try Keith he's been a big help but didnt think to ask him about shim being I didnt see them on DD site!

    Just to throw my .02 in. I talked to Dave over @ Ekstrom (CB) and let's just say he took 30 minutes out of his sch to talk to me and make his suggestions to the set up I want to run. If CB shackles are what you want, then nothing like getting them from the company that fabricates them. They accept PayPal, just have them invoice you.

    I talked to Keith when I had to get my carrier bearing drop. His assistant or secretary (whichever answers emails and phone calls) had up and quit on him and put him behind in a big way. So I wouldn't give him too much flack....

    Sorry I was unclear, I meant Coachbuilder. In my lift plan I would like to maintain a close to factory rake as i plan to tow boat/camper. So I am not sure if the Toytec shackles can do that with a 3" front lift.

    Oh I know I was just referencing you saying to give Keith a call. I ordered some carrier drop bearings not even a month ago, and hadn't heard anything within a week (shipping notification, tracking nbr, or even an order received statement). Opted to email him and PM him on here. After a couple days he finally got back to me and explained the situation.

    Just letting the OP know if he decides to go to dirty deeds for his shims not to worry or give Keith a hard time.

    Come to think of it...I have no idea why I quoted your post.....:bananadead:

    Call Dave (@Coachbuilder1). Try calling him again. I placed an order on Tuesday. He answered on the first ring and was super helpful confirming I was getting what I needed/wanted. Shims were out of stock but expected in very soon. Think he told me had 100 coming. He gave me the forum discount and had an invoice over within minutes of hanging up. There are some great vendors selling his products but it was nice to talk to the guy who actually makes them.
