I came across your build looking for info on AMP Powersteps. Your truck looks great! Any issues with the steps since you installed them? Worth the investment? Thanks!

Thanks for the kind words! Worth every penny! We didn't want steps that stayed out; looked to rugged for our taste. We wanted something clean. AMP Powersteps provided just that. No problems, still works like the first day.

Nice upgrade on the bike :bikewhoops:

Would you say the 6112's are more compliant on the road than the 5100's? Was it more of an offroad decision or are they just better all around?

    You gonna do an exhaust???

Upgraded my taillights last September. Removed the Winjet units and replaced them with Recons. Here are the pictures...

Love the look of your Truck. I just got one 2020, bought in cali shipped to hawaii. Looking to put new rims and tires on it. trying to avoid lifting it(want to be able to fit in garage) and having tires that stick out too far or rub. Either going to powder coat the stock 20's it came with, or trying to find black 20's or 18's to put on that are similar to the OEM TRD's or same offset. Any suggestions? So far only mod I have done is blacked out my emblems. Thinking of taking off TRD Sticker and also I Force emblem.

How did you feed signal to the LC2i controller? Will be picking mine my Sport Premium in 2 weeks and will likely do a few audio upgrades myself.

My stereo build has dropped the LC2i.
They get the job done but are old tech.
Going with a Helix m4DSP for the front/rear and using the old Kenwood 900 to drive the sub for now. Plenty of room for expansion down the road.

Glad to hear it's working out. I had a couple bucks burning a hole in my pocket and the Kenwood has seen hours of use so why not upgrade :)

Great looking truck! I was reading through a thread and read your reply stating to check out your build thread and here I am. I have a 2021 MBM TRD Sport Premium. I received SCS Gunmetal Ray 10's last week and may go with 275 70 18 K02's from Costco. Can you give a comparison on KO2's and Wildpeaks? Are the Wildpeaks worth the higher cost?

I think your height and stance is perfect! It is the exact setup that I want to go with. What would be the biggest tire to run without encountering any rubbing, trimming or having to remove any splash guards? Do I need to change the UCA's? Do you know what the factory red/blue Bilstein's model is on the TRD Sport Premium? Are the 5100's better than the factory sport shocks for the rear?

Could you please list your exact suspension setup as I read bits and pieces all through your thread! Thank you!

@Cuda021312 Thank you for the kind words. The KO2 vs Wildpeak question...haha I guess it boils down to personal preference. I scoured this forum seeking input from those that ran or are running KO2s. I have co-workers that run KO2s as well and I asked them for their input and assessed their tread wear. I read countless websites comparing these two tires and ended up going with the Falkens and I'm glad I did. They handle VERY well in all conditions. I have 25k miles on my set and they don't seem to want to wear out. My only gripes are they are HEAVY and my MPGs suffered but the latter may be more the size I went with more than anything. I'm not sure what I want to do WHEN they wear out.

You should consider UCAs with any lift close to or over 3". The biggest tire will depend on the rim offset. Search this forum and you can problem find your answer to that question. The front flaps on the bumper have to be removed. There is no way around that one. The Red/Blue shocks came stock on the Sport models. The 5100s are better than those.

    This is my setup: Ray 10s Gunmetal 18x9 +25mm // Falken Wildpeak AT3s 305/65-18 // Bilstein 6112 top setting w/Boss 4x4 Shims 3" // SPC UCAs // Bilstein 5100 rear // Boss 4x4 Rear Shackles Top Setting 2"

Thank you for the extremely helpful info. This is my very first truck and coming from AMG's this is all new to me as I'm used to going lower. Not higher. I'm slowly learning as I'm constantly searching forum threads. Your trucks stance is one of only a handful that I've come across that caught my attention. I'm after better ride quality with the lift as I'll be doing very little off roading.

I don't mind replacing parts on a brand new truck if it is with the oem manufacturer and makes a big improvement. The 6112's up front and 5100's in the rear definitely seem like the way to go. I wasn't expecting the 5100's being better than the factory TRD Sport struts.

I noticed that most go with a 70 profile tire and you went with 65. Is it because were you after more width over height? I was thinking a 285 70 18. Is that doable without having to trim or remove anything?

I'll definitely look into the Wildpeaks vs KO2's more as comfort, tread wear and road noise are important to me. Thank you again!

I went with the 65 profile because I wanted a beefier stance, hence the 305 width. But they are so close in comparison that after this set wears out (whenever that is lol), I may go with the 285/70-18. The Falkens are definitely quieter than the KO2s.

    Lift is 3/3...

I added RAS, Roadmaster Active Suspension a while ago (February 2022) and forgot to post it here. Here is the HD version that I went with. The bed bounce is completely gone, the squat is minimal, tows very good and responsive with a load in the bed. I highly recommend this item.

Thanks for all the pics. Definitely helpful. When you say you used shims, are you referring to a .25" shim (for .5" lift)?
