With this being a new model and very few available, I’m sure everyone wants to see what is out there and always looking for ideas. What mods have you performed? Here’s mine….

    Mods

    · LT 275/70 R18 BFG All Terrain TKO (Is anyone keeping the stock tires on? Maybe Toyota will hear everyone and actually put decent tires on like the other Pro’s in the fleet…

    · ARE LSII Tonneau Cover w/ Keyless Lock and LED Lighting (On order; I ran the electrical to the bed today)

    · BedRug with dust baffle to keep all the dust out of the bed. (On order!)

Well...you didn't say Tundra, so I guess game on! Here is mine, sibling to the Tundra. 2015 Tacoma Double Cab TRD PRO V-6 Auto/ Kept the tires as they give the little guys real ones / Snug Top XTR Shell / Full Bed Rug / LED Bed Lights / Powder Coated Snug Top Rails Satin Black (factory is silver) / Husky X-contour Mats / And then the mod that will make some folks shake their heads...swapped the TRD Exhaust for one from a 2015 Tacoma TRD Sport....kept the fancy tip so now it is a "TRD Poser Exhaust" but much quieter...maybe just me getting old, but with the shell it "Droned" a lot so was annoying. / N-Fab 2" Step Rails.

I don't discriminate on any Pro. Nice truck. Yeah the Taco and 4Runner get real tires; not sure the deal with the Tundra.

And I forgot about the Husky matts. They are truly a life saver and on order. They go in on every trip out.

I'm going with Toyo OC MT 297/70/r18 on my tundra pro. it will be the only thing that I will upgrade to it right now. Got to focus on the nice truck payments for awhile.

You won't mind the Toyos in the slightest...if you're able to deal with a little extra road noise.

Here's how they'll look on your Pro :)...Same exact size by the way!

Well, here's mine............the mods include: TRD supercharger, Toyo M/Ts 295/70R18, ESP Truck storage, Thule rack, Bestop NX power boards (no tapping into the factory wiring), and LineX bed spray. I think that's about it for now.

    Those power steps are pricey!

I think I'll do the line-x bed spray after exhaust (next mod)

Sexy Pro man...out of curiosity, did you see any difference between the TRD CAI and the stock airbox? I keep seeing mixed reviews.

By the way, great color choice (Inferno FTW!)

How do you like that ESP storage? I don't like the way the gen 3 rear seats fold down as it takes away a lot of storage for all my emergency gear. This looks like a clean substitute. Do you get any exterior noise with it? Looks very nice as does the truck.

I love the ESP storage, its just enough storage for my things and looks like it came from the factory that way. As for noise......... none at all, its worth every penny and very simple to install just take
    your time.

I have a Tacoma that Im now trading in for a Tundra. But I just put Nitto Terra Grappler II's on and they are great! Minimal to no noise n the street. Highly recommend. I though they were gonna be a little more aggressive looking.....so now Im ordering Trail Grapplers for the Tundra.

Debadged about a month ago. Today I got 20% window tinting, a 70% windshield tint with 3M Crystalline, and some Sweet vinyl on my hood and bed. A new front bumper and body mount cutting to be done on the 14th. Then I'll get my tires and wheels. I'm probably going to be getting the AIRAID CAI with non oiling synthetic filter. Husky beaters in front, full Weathertech in back. Pics are a little fuzzy, too much sun here to cooperate with my phone.

Out of breath and out of money, lol!

I also decided to go with these tires. They are just big enough and look great. I ended up going with the white lettering out.

It is a serious metal flake.....changes color like crazy depending on the light source....goes anywhere from what my Lady calls "Campbells Tomato Soup" when under those yellowish street lights to Burnt Orange and sometimes even looks pretty red in color.

Crap, that's not what I wanted to hear... So that means it will probably hold up well with scratches and such... Ah well, I'd still be waiting for an inferno and who knows when it would be here...

Scratches... I got a bunch of those! I guess it's called Arizona Pinstriping out here, lol. I wasn't too happy at first, but they buffed out. That's what a trucks for right? Gotta have some fun...

Ah, a fellow Arizonian. Yes, the pinstriping is exactly why I stay away from certain colors, but rather choose specifically as to best hide it. It's tough when you see how good some of these vehicles look, but I am fully a utility guy and don't want to be afraid to roll through the cedars or such. While not even close to my favorite color, my 2010 Silver CM hid scratches well. Metal flake does tend to help especially at the lower end of the spectrum.

I'm in Tucson, so maybe I will see you around the Flagstaff area. I hit the lakes a lot as well; gonna hit Pleasant this weekend since there is a tourney on Rosey. I am past 500 miles now, so gonna see how much the boat dips the back. If I see an inferno, maybe I'll flag you down...

BTW, where did you get your Pro? Avondale here. I have not seen any driving the streets of Tucson, how about you?

I got my PRO at Riverview Toyota in Mesa. It was totally by coincidence... I had been in there the week prior inquiring on possibilities for the Tacoma PRO, in fact, I was at several dealers searching and putting feelers out. This particular day I made my purchase, I was driving to a Bass Pro Shop to get my son a Christmas gift and passing by I saw it sitting front and center, not knowing what model it was. After a quick visit to Bass Pro, I jolted over there, test drove it, and signed away! So a case of being in the right place at the right time.

Lately, I have seen a black one in my area, and SDHQ has acquired an Inferno extended cab version. I'm trying to set mine apart though with my mods. Maybe we'll cross paths sometime soon.
