Where is the new Tundra commercial????

All the talk of the new Tundra commercial and its fake news? No more V8 I was told...well, now that it’s all bullshit. Anything is possible. Supercharged V12. 3mph. 0-60 in 1.6. Long travel suspension standard. Laser disc player and 6 cigarette outlets.

 

Next gen pushed back to 2022 is what I’m hearing.

 

Two words: World breaking

 

I was having this conversation with someone the other day in reference to me buying a '21. My comment was basically, "They say there's a major redesign coming in the 2022 model year, but with the Tundra / 4Runner / Taco there's always a major redesign coming in the next model year. If you keep waiting for it you'll never buy a Toyota." Maybe there's a major redesign coming in '22 and maybe there isn't, but I've been in the Toyota world long enough that I'll believe it when I see it.

 

Just what are you smoking? Pine? Seasoned Douglas Fir?

 

With all the rumors of Toyota announcing the next generation in a super bowl commercial, it was disappointing to not see it. Especially with all the lame commercials that were there. Once again, a missed opportunity.

 

Maybe Toyota just realized that the NFL sucks and they wanted to debut the new Tundra in another way.

 

The commercials were so incredibly horrible/woke this year you might have missed the awesome introduction by Toyota. I recommend you re-watch them closely, as I was told its definitely in there somewhere.

 

You'll see it at the next Chicago Auto Show.

This. It was 2015 when I started wanting/planning my Tundra purchase. I expected an all new truck by 2018 or so based on the 2016 Tacoma release. Well by the time I learned it would be after 2020, I gave up. Glad I didn’t keep waiting.

Anyone know the ROI of a Superbowl ad? I doubt it would be that impactful to revenue.
