My sound was from the front radiator for sure. For a few years, I thought it to be the Acc. Belt. When I put a new belt on the sound continued which led me to the Fan Bracket Pulley Bearings in research.

Your sound is gnarly for sure. Might be deep inside which makes it hard to locate as the sound goes everywhere from the middle.

What type oil do you have? 5w-30 is the spec. Yzzd-3 is the Spec Filter. I know this won’t help but maybe give some insight.

I use the mobile 1 with mobile 1 filter, the same one it says in the cap of oil to use... question but from your guess. What do you think it could be?

    Sound on my
Phone isn’t the best. But it kind of sounds like a cracked flex plate

There’s an inspection plate if I remember right. Removing it and checking the torque converter bolt areas will rule that out

Question? What could that damage, how much more time do I have? Is that from the transmission? Will it hold ? It started doing it constantly since yesterday

It’s the plate that connects the engine to the torque converter. They don’t crack just randomly, so you may have an issue with the torque converter. I would have someone check the plate. Super rare issue. But that would be something i check for. Should be able to see cracks if the inspection plates off

Is the crack in between the transmission and engine?

It would be on the plate itself

Another question, what could it cause if it break. Sorry to ask that much, is that I am not a mecanic and would like to know better

Your truck will cease moving. The transmission will loose its connection to the engine, and possible damage to the crankshaft and transmissions becomes very likely

So you recommend me not to move it?... also what are other possible causes if you might know

Also it is still running does it mean that their has not been no other damage?

Drive it as little as possible until someone with a bore scope can get eyes on it. Is it your issue? It may not be, but it definitely sounds like a cracked flex plate.

what causes this? If it hasn’t been apart. A sticking starter can, or just simple fatigue over the years

Sounds like you should have her towed and look into that inspection plate. Major work it seems. Maybe do a Remanufactured/Rebuilt Transmission while its off and replace the Rear Main Seal on the Engine. $$$

I hope it's not, but if you're in a rust area - the heat shields are something you can check yourself to see if any are loose.

I have one that the dealer was nice enough to fold over when they did the frame swap long ago. It will rattle against another part of the heat shield if I catch it when I'm under there.

Hard to believe that flexplate in the video never came apart.

Yours is making the noise at idle and the one in the video only made the noise when it was put in gear. Not sure that rules you out, but that's the differences I see between the two videos.

Installed remote start, throttle controller, transmission oil cooler, front and rear TRD sway bars and K&N air filter.
Normally I would say its a hydraulic lifter that is leaking down, but your motor has a bucket and shim system for valve adjustment. How many miles in on the motor? I would have the valve clearance checked. Sounds like one of the valve clearance is out of spec. I will tell you this, take it to someone who knows what they are doing and have done it before. There is one other possible cause, a cracked flex plate. There is an access plate under the motor in front of the transmission that can be removed to inspect the flex plate. I would check the flex plate first, since its the easier and cheaper to check.

Sounds like bad valve. I had that same noise when I dropped a nut into the head while doing a repair. Have you done a compression test on the passenger side Cylinders and are you getting any misfires?

In the OPs video it looked like parking brake on and he put it in drive. But I very well could be wrong

Now that I rewatched it, You may be right sir. Could be the flexplate if that's true
