This has been my experience too. My F150 never had any huge issues, but it did have 3 recalls and numerous TSBs that amounted to about a month's time over 5 or 6 years.

The bigger issue, honestly, wasn't the truck itself. It was the fact that most issues ended up with the experienced techs basically saying "*shrug* I dunno, we've 'never seen that issue before.'"

Meanwhile, we own a 2012 Highlander and a 2020 Tundra, and between the two vehicles, we've experienced exactly *ONE* issue (2020 Tundra HVAC occasionally defaults to dash vents - I think it's a sensor that's hosed up somewhere). The dealership has already told me "Even if it's out of warranty when we find it, we'll cover it."

And the Tundra pro is on its own level. The Rebel and the Trail boss don't have the suspension anywhere near as good as the pro just your standard minor offroad shocks

YES, that's exactly what the TRD Pro is. But, that's just fine with me. I will be driving this Tundra til the cows come home.

There will never be an end to people posting as if the raptor is an upgrade package on an F150.

instead the raptor is a completely different truck.

its the difference between an XR250 dirtbike and a crf250r.

the trd pro is just shocks, wheels, and nice seats. No rational person is expecting it to be more than that

I want Toyota to produce a truck that costs 100k and it will make us all happy. But be sure you slap a cool name on it and act like it will win baja.

They already did that. It's called a Tundra TRD Pro. I'm sure that race truck cost well over 100K.

TORRANCE, Calif., November 18, 2014 — The 2015 Tundra TRD Pro Desert Race Truck not only raced for over 1,200 miles to a first place finish at the 47th Tecate SCORE Baja 1000, it was also driven an additional 1,000 miles back to the start line of the race.

Now that I could get behind. My thing is the price tag on the rams and f150s. Then the pro isn't all that far behind. At what point will we stop chasing that price point.

I just got done with that article about 5 minutes ago and saw those pics. It's quite unreal. I never knew that was accomplished by Toyota. I stood corrected

I don't want anything to do with a truck priced that high. Have no need for it.

Even a Trophy Truck would have a hard time doing this. However, I bet the TRD Pro didn't drive at a 100mph on whoops.

I was saying what a great truck the pro is on another thread and I got bashed for it. I admit I think it should come standard with a more aggressive off road tire. ( Ridge grappler)(ko2) i would like to see a small bump in horsepower. I don't mean a supercharger. Maybe a trd intake standard. That and the standard dual exhaust it already comes with are probably good for 10 or 15 hp. Post the numbers on the sticker to show it off. I've never had a need for a rear locker on the maintained roads I hunt but a lot of people ask for it. If the pro had those 3 things standard I think it would make a lot of people happy. When I was shopping for a new truck I compared it to the rebel, fx4 and z71 and I felt it was the best choice.in my opinion It's the most reliable and best looking truck on the road!

The pro is far superior to the trailboss and fx4 in stock form.

Adding a locker is a lot simpler than adding equivalent suspension

Not only was it driven back, it was driven back by all the grew members who chased it through out the race. So they each got some miles behind the wheel of the race car they pitted.

    That's some respect.

Toyota Tundra owners buy for reliability, high resale value , very low cost of ownership. And the truck is bad ass. I got mine so I never have to turn a wrench unless it to add a mod to the truck.
