I think they just accidentally cut a wire or sensor. My kit is fox, not TRD pro shocks but pretty damn close. The leveling (2 inch lift in the front) wouldn’t have made a difference. They just messed up. It’s all good dude. A lot of people lift the tundra.

Dealership called. They broke a abs sensor. It’s fixed now. They gave me a rental and took some money off the install for my troubles. 4WP messed up but fixed it accordingly. I’ll post pics on Wednesday when I pick it up

    Man she looks beautiful!

after all it was a “speed sensor” on the rear tire, not an ABS sensor. I still wouldn’t know the difference if I saw them lol.

they delivered Bertha yesterday as I was dropping off the car rental. She’s looking pretty nice. I need to get a better pic to show the rake but I had them drop the front of the truck 1 inch from level. Rear sits around 39 inches and the front is 38 inches. Shocks feel awesome. They’re new so they need some breaking in time, but they feel good right now.

Congrats! I’m so torn between suspension brands right now it’s not even funny any more.

Bilsteins are awesome. But you get what you pay for. Personally mine is 99% of the time on pavement. I could have went with them. I test drove the pro and liked the handling. So I went with fox. Feels just like the TRD pro and was half the price as the tundra TRD pro shocks. Unless you’re planning on getting a heavier bumper, bigger tires, etc you don’t need the big King/Fox 2.5 with reservoirs with a beefier spring. The 2.0 set I got are perfect. I tow a little, pull my travel trailer, and mostly drive it to and from the hospital. Fox 2.0 are perfect for my setup.

So I have a new problem. When I turn into a turn lane the truck screams at me to tell me to brake, then goes away. I’ve been reading that a zero point calibration will solve this. I’m willing to take it to the dealership but I didn’t think I’d have an issue with putting a 1 inch lift in the front. The truck still has a rake to it.

question is does a zero point calibration adjust for the new ride height? Or do I need to do the shim thing I’ve been reading about.

I have a 2021 tundra and don’t see anywhere about doing the paper clip method on a push to start tundra.

A 1” lift should not affect the TSS radar sensor but it’s finicky. I’ve had a 2.5” lift and relocated the sensor with no issues at all. Experience varies in this regard however.

Dang man. Sorry to read about your issues. This just reinforces to me to never ever ever have any work done on my truck by 4WP. I mean, I’m glad they took care of you on the ABS sensor, but how in the world did they even break it? Andy why after a 1” lift up front are you getting a new round of errors?

I’ve installed a suspension kit (coilovers, rear shocks, etc) on two vehicles. I had to watch a YouTube video for the first one. I have very little experience doing this, but it’s a simple job. It’s just amazing to me that a place that specializes in this stuff messes customers’ trucks up with such regularity. Hope you get it sorted.

I didn’t lift the rear at all. They were just swapped out for the stock shocks.

yea they must have knocked the sensor out when installing the rear shocks. Toyota fixed it.

it’s only happened twice. When I’m pulling into a turn lane. It’s just telling me to brake. And it immediately goes away. I’ve seen a ton of people getting a zero point calibration and it changed it. I specifically made them drop the front instead of leveling it to avoid the VSC acting up.

weird. Toyota is going to do a zero point calibration. I hope it fixes it.

And I don’t know if this affects anything but I have a 2021. Don’t know if there’s anything new about the VSC.

Toyota says to do a zero point calibration when there’s any work on the suspension, or if a sensor has been changed. So I’m praying a zero point calibration fixes it.

My falcon shocks got installed today along with wheels and tires. OMG, I'm in heaven. We just went out to dinner and on the way home hit a railroad crossing. I punched it and it was glorious. These shocks are no joke. They beg to be beat on.

I will post some actual pics of the internals tomorrow when it is light out. Haven't had a chance to do much. But as far as first rides around town, I'm smiling!!! For sure. Total confidence that I can just drive it hard. Now the new wheels and tires do add to that for sure.

Your Tundra looks great! Where did you find Falcons in stock? I've been waiting for over a month now for mine to arrive.

    Looks good bud!

makes me want to get bigger tires now lol. Maybe when I burn through the new KO2s I’ll upgrade to a bigger wheel and tire.

Oh and regarding my issue, I turned down the sensor for the pre collision and it magically went away! Still going to get the zero point calibration because I’ve read constantly that it is required when you change the stance of the truck.

Took her to the grocery store and got her cleaned up. Stance is beautiful. And she drives like a dream. I think I’m done upgrading for now lol.

Niceeeeeeee. I was thinking of a bump stop extender but I don’t think I’m going to tow more than 5000lbs. Unless I buy a bigger camper or get a horse farm lol, then I’d probably get a 2500HD

How much of a lift did you get on the front and rear? Did you measure before and after?

Huge bump stop extender with an adjustable coilover? That seems very odd

I spoke with David at Coachbuilder and he recommended it. I can always take it off if I decide to later on.

Think of how much up travel you lost with them...i would call Fox directly and ask them. They know exactly when that shock/coil will bottom out

Hbjeff- I thought I updated this. I did contact FOX they said that I don't need the bump stop extenders so they are off. Thank you for the heads up.

Greetings, first post here on the forum. I have the same truck and looking to do something similar. How have those Fox 2.0's help up with daily driving, towing etc.? My Tundra is no longer a daily driver, but looking to go with the new KO3's when they come out later in the spring. Any updates or information would be helpful. Thank you!

I have the Fox 2.0 on my tundra and I love them. I do not two but it is my daily driver so I am very happy with the Fox 2.0 on my tundra.

I live on the east coast; in the DC area and we gets lots of salt on the roads. The aluminium appeals to me for preventing rust and corrosion. Sorry for all the questions:

Have you had to have them refurbished/rebuilt yet?
Did you got with the 2 inch lift up front and/or did that level it off?
How does it ride? I don't want to loose the "drive ability" of it, being a family hauler/weekend truck that rarely leaves the pavement.
