Looking for input and reviews on the update system for the stock "Premium" JBL System. Any reviews or technical information to provide? I think it's a viable option but want some real-world reviews.

I had their JBL Enhancement system installed for a while. It was a simple install, hardest thing for me was cutting the rubber thing to get the sub power cable through the firewall.
It came with 4 tweeters, and the sub w/ remote level control. The tweeters really brought the system to life, and the bass was finally there, but I did prefer more more. They have an option for a second sub that can be added, but due to the volume limitations of the factory head unit, I opted to replace everything with a Kenwood head unit and the JL Stealthbox.

There are several others on this site that are very happy with the system.

In its defense Nanook really enjoyed it while it was installed

Everything seems to cost an arm and leg for this truck's audio system. I wish Toyota would actually use something of quality with regards to audio. The rest of the truck, while extremely dated, functions well and is reliable. Thanks ScottB, will keep you posted if I find a buyer for your OEM+ system.

Based on your profile pic, I am guessing you'll need some good tweeters and mids to bring out the crazy loud guitars and screams from that album ;)

I used JRT and purchased a DSP with JBL 8 channel amp, totally plug and play (Except for power/ground). Finally got it dialed in last night and totally changed how the stock speakers sound. I would give him a call with a budget and he can set you up.
