Hello all my fellow tuntun owners,
I have a 2018 Tundra TSS crewmax Magnetic Gray
With the blackout package, and it came with the black rims, it has the Fender flares
My ? To all of you great people is “many” by the way, is,the rims I have are on 20x9’s on BFG’s a/t ko2’s 285/55R20’s and I am about to buy a whole new set up.
I want the tires to have a little poke 1”to 1 1/2” out past the flares. Is that something I can do without modifying anything? If so, what am I needing to do? Would that be Do I have to get it lifted or leveled, I don’t want to level, rather put bilsteins on her, I am looking at 20x9 +18 offset, will that achieve what I want?

This will give you a good indication of how far they will stick out compared to your current setup on stock +60 offset rims.

You could keep your rims and all that $ and just install wheel spacers. Would be super easy and so much cheaper than new rims...and they make them in different sizes, 1 to 1.5 inch and you would have the look you want for just the cost of the spacers, which cost around $150.

If you go with spacers, just get ready to clean the sides of your truck more often...;) I bought these and they work well so far:

I hear pros and cons, I want the tires/rims to stick out a little past the fender flares, it looks like it would be more than an 1” - 1 1/2” to achieve what I want. Is going that far out on spacers safe, or am I overthinking it? Sounds like a great idea and I could use the $ to do other stuff.
