    Same.

About to add a Romeo Zero and an Olgiht mini to see if it hinders concealment.

The 12/rnd clips make it even better.

Just got one a few weeks ago and love it. I 20210128_223121.jpg swapped in the XL grip module with the 12rd magazine using the standard short slide.

Im in the same boat of adding the Romeo and a Tac Rail with a tlr7a, im just so used without those added features.
Show some pics when you do. I’d liked to get some feedback on which holster and comfort, if you dont mind.

    Picked up a used Glenfield/Marlin model 60.
    .22 LR.

Shoots pretty nicely. Pulled her apart, and cleaned it up. Pretty gunked up inside. Haven't Shot it since cleaning.

During cleaning I pulled the trigger mechanism apart, and parts went flying. Definite oh shit moment. After some quick Google-fu, and reverse engineering thought experiments I had it back together again about an hour later.

Action feels much better now that it's clean, and oiled. How can I find out when it was made using the serial number?

During cleaning Pops told me he had an old revolver laying around that was also .22LR. I think it was tanfolio or something like that. Cleaned that up too. I don't know anything about those, or that brand. Apparently made in Italy. He told me he got it from his Grandpa a LONG time ago.

It seems to be missing the discharge mechanism that mounts on the side of the barrel. Is it worth finding that piece, and making it whole again?

No pics yet. Sorry. Will update later.

I have a new unfired HK VP-9 that I probably won't keep:annoyed:In these "days of the covid plague" there aren't enough pistols in shops to try out before buying so I bought it and gambled I could use it....nope. Because of my wrecked hands, it's just too uncomfortable to operate. I even ordered a HK 30 round mag for it too!o_OResized_20210117_135105.jpg

I really wish people would quit freaking out over the govt taking away their guns everytime a Democrat is elected and buying everything up like this. 1) makes gun owners look crazy 2) Washington can't get anything done anyway so what are you worried about lol its like the stock market , buy low people.....everyone who hoarded the gun shops probably overpaid obscenely for everything too. Ebbs and flows people....makes it really hard on actual gun enthusiasts just doing our thing lol

    It's my lucky day.
I finally ordered some MTM 22-Long Rifle 100 Round Ammo Boxes for the bulk box I've had in the safe for 3 years.
I got 548 rounds in my 525 round box...

Yes Sir. All the different sizes and combos, front to back as well as the side panels. There isn't enough mag release for my limited range of motion in my hand/fingers.It isn't an issue with the pistol, it's me.

Just picked up my first gun. Went with a Springfield xd9 5”. Just have a tlr7a on it right now. Very happy with the purchase, not my favorite choice but I believe the best option for me of what’s legal in California lol4A275C11-51B1-4C1B-9D92-7ABCD6DD90AD.jpg

Barely, that’s why I had to get one ASAP. But he did let me in on the fact that my mom who lives in Nevada can “gift” me a firearm. So I might be looking into something I actually want in the future

It seems like more and more Californians are getting on board because the store local to me is constantly packed and you have to set an appointment. My 10 day waiting period was up on Monday and I still couldn’t come in to pick up until Friday. Just sucks that due to the time, ammo and guns are at a crazy mark up

Stopped in the local Sportsman's Warehouse today for some tackle box organizers. Had to wander through the other section...
Couple of boxes of 6mm Creedmore, and that was it for ammo. Shotshells there were some 10GA, 28GA, and a couple boxes of 20GA. Reloading components were limited to a handful of 7mm 150gr projectiles (too bad I prefer 160-175gr), and a bunch of .375 projectiles. Nothing else. Period. No ARs, a handful of 22lr rifles, a few expensive shotguns, and a reasonable number of bolt actions, but mostly more $$$ ones and still only a couple in each row of the rack. A scattering of handguns, but mostly 22's there.

Finally had a minute to get my optics and light on.

Mounted Romeo Zero with Lakeline dovetail mount.
I’m probably going to go milled or precut slide, eventually.
It sits a little high for my OCD.

Used a Recovery Tactical Rail to install the Olight Baldr Mini.

    8E73AA82-57BD-4975-BBCE-B02E1753D6D7.jpg

The Olight Baldr is crazy bright!

    02854FD7-C329-4E35-880D-5E4610485B14.jpg

And the green dot is nice.

    F295032C-57C7-4295-9F04-424CA8305B95.jpg

Using the MIE Productions IWB for carry.
I only have this one currently, because it’s what was in stock.

I have a couple of different styles on order from BlackArch, Teir 1 and Patriot Holsters.
Everyone is on 3-12 week lead time.

    192BDC2F-2052-470F-A9D7-0A40FDE611B7.jpg
    5615C62C-BA17-484D-99E6-EAAB7A56EBFC.jpg

The MIE is well made, but I prefer a two clip system.
With the clip in the center it hinders getting a full grip on draw.

    3403BE30-90A6-4E91-B8E4-FB42AF494575.jpg

Overall, I don’t feel the optics and light will be too bothersome.
Getting my preferred style of holster will aid as well.

    Hope this helps.

Yep, model 81000592, bought from a Texas shop called Texas Gun Experience. I'll probably end up with a lesser quality pistol because of the features I need for operation. The same model I bought 'if it's in stock' has already increased $ 100-150! It'll be s solid buy for someone when I sell it.

You try changing out the grips with some of the different size combinations? The VP9 is one hell of a pistol and the most comfortable I have ever put in my hands (I must have held every modern pistol made before I settled on the VP9).

    Here’s mine:
