First time towing with the Pro. The truck being towed got more thumbs up than the Tundra. LOL.

That's gonna be sweet! Always wanted one, can't wait to see what you do to it. I'm sure it's going to be just as perfect as the toyota pickup..

This thread took me so far back. My first Toyota was a 1983 4X4. Manual locks, hand crank windows, no A/C, no cruise. I bought it at a dealer in Alameda, CA, I believe it was Ron Goode, and drove it for 20 years. It came with a camper shell and a carpet kit. That little truck never left me stranded. I think it had 328,000 miles on it when my youngest son got in an accident with it his first time driving in the rain.

Great thread and thanks for the trip down memory lane!

I learned to drive in a ‘84 4x4 xtra cab diesel. No power steering, windows, locks, etc. I still think of that truck..

I pocketed just shy of $12k. Was hoping for more considering the last replica sold for 58k but I'm still happy with the outcome. Mine was more of a tribute. I was done with that project and ready for a new one.

That’s still a good return. How much does BAT charge for fees?
