I was curious if anyone has bypassed the tire pressure monitoring system? I've watched some videos on it and they spliced some wires together. I bought new rims and didn't wanna put the sensors back in, as I've been thru 4 different sets on the current factory wheels and it gets pricey. I don't really wanna do anything with wires, is there a better way to go about it, or should I just keep the light on and ignore it?

you could just place the sensors inside the cabin somewhere that is not easily seen... like underneath the cup holder.

or, you could just place a piece of electrical tape over the light and its off..... or even remove the bulb and it will never come back... lol..

    None, yet....
You can tune it out with HPTuners, depending on the year of your truck. Other option, is that some guys will take PVC pipe and create a “pill”. Basically 2 ends on a piece of tube and put a schrader valve on it. Toss the sensors in, put pressure to it and put it somewhere it won’t bother you inside the truck.

I've thought about throwing them in a spare but didn't really wanna shell out more money for another set. I bought wheels thinking maybe the 2 rims I'm having trouble with are bad, but I have to air them up every few days to keep the light off ita just getting annoying

Yeah, the batteries on my TPMS died years ago, I've just learned to live with it on.... My OBD2 use to be able to turn off the light, but the last update it received it can no longer do it.. first worlds problems I guess..... I manually check my tires on a daily basis, don't really need a dummy light to tell me my shit is low... I can tell when it starts muffin topping at the lower end that I need to grab the soapy water bottle and spray it and check for leaks... LOL...
