Finally found happiness in the form of blacking out the chrome on the exterior of my 2021 Army Green 1794. I just wanted to share with the community because I hated the chrome and I thought I had no way out on those 1794 logos unless I simply removed them.

I bought the truck new in October 2020. It now has 9200 miles on it. Here’s what I’ve done so far.

-18% tint with shaved edges all the way around.
-front and rear TRD sway bars
-blacked out all chrome on outside of vehicle
-purchased the TRD pro grille, color coded hood bulge and the appropriately priced TSS Sensor guard.
-added the factory bedstep for easier access

Wanted to see what you guys thought of the blacked out logo, and if I should get some copper paint and paint the ‘1794’ numbers to make them pop.

what else should I do to this truck? Not only is this my first Tundra, it’s my first truck and I welcome all ideas. Thanks!

Welcome from the wet side of WA.
What did you do to black out the door handles?
I’d go bronze in the 1794 badge, get bronze wheels, and get rid of the red sticker on the rear fenders. I’d probably also pull the vinyl off the door pillars...

I had the bumper corners, 4 door handles, and side view mirrors all wrapped in a gloss vinyl.

Nice Tundra! For me, and it's just a personal preference thing, but I like the color-matched front fender end caps on the Army green trucks better than black. Also, a little lift (2-3") in the front and bigger tires always helps too as the truck is so big it makes stock tires look too small, IMO.

    Welcome from South Carolina!

I like it. As mentioned, I would remove the bed stickers. I was attracted to the Nightshade because it lacked most emblems and stickers. I know it is a Toyota, 4x4, etc. I may remove what logos are left soon.

    Greetings from Central Texas!

He hasn't been back in about 10 months.
    He probably used/looks like PlastiDip.
