What have you done to your 2.5 gen Tundra today?

Yessir. Bumper replacement ends need to be painted still so the shop is getting those on Monday. Bulge and surround are painted already (havent opened the boxes yet.. we’ll see)

 

AJT Chrome delete package finished. Replacement or the HU next month.

Installed my Diamondback cover.

 

Modified my harness to finish the install of the flush mounts and installed the switch in the blank until I come up with a better switch option. The switch on the left is for my center light bar. Than one can be replaced with a CH4x4 switch at some point as it is just an on/off. The switch on the right is the 3 position switch for the flush mounts.

 

I got my 5k mile service and got the oil changed. I don’t know why I keep thinking the dealership will be better. Not only did it take almost 2 hours, they didn’t even put my floor mats back in properly. And they changed every possible adjustment on my seat.

I am so done with them when the free service is done.

 

Just installed my BumperShelz end caps and my life is complete..Well at least until I get my 8" exhaust system from Dirty Deeds...

 

I think the Clazzios are a little cheaper if you order them through Sparksparts.

 

Other than the headlights, dechroming was the first priority lol. Looks so much better! Now that I finished the rear bumper swap, next mod.....train horns.

 

You will like the 8". I have it on mine..I did not install the resonator on mine.

 

Is it loud below 2000 rpm without the resonator? Sometimes cops like to find reasons to pull you over, already installed a CAI that makes my engine growl.

Yep...takes about 60 seconds with tech stream. You can do as many as 7 blinks, or as few as 3 (or just turn it off). A few other handy changes:

Well, hit a milestone for a 2016 and have to contend with this “error”. Message periodically disappears if shutting the truck off, but comes right back shortly after starting to drive. Scangauge doesn’t pick up any codes. 4hi/Lo, traction also blink. Time to scour the forum for helpful info.
