What color VLEDS did you order?

 

I went with the 5500K.

 

Ah, the white ones. Do yourself a favor and buy some quality double sided tape, the ones they provide with the kit are pretty lousy.

 

Took my girl in yesterday to have the rotors turned and the front brakes checked. They had to do the front and rear but it was all under the bumper to bumper warranty still. Also had to educate the service advisor about changing my turn signals to blink 5 time instead of 3. He had no glue you could do it. Maybe he should join Tundras.com and learn a little bit from thus wonderful community.

 

Got the oil changed today, still covered under Toyota care, so full synthetic cost me $0.

 

I pulled the trigger this afternoon on Matching Mirror Caps and Matching door handles. I’ll post pics when installed

 

Finally started the Chrome delete. Platinum Grille, Mirror Caps, Front Bumper, and Door Handles. Badging and Side Steps are next.

 

Yeah I have a huge roll of it. The grey 3M is the stuff to use.

looks great! What steering wheel wrap is that? Thinking about wrapping or swapping to a tacoma wheel...can’t decide!

I tried the wrap and because of how OCD I am, plus the small quality control issues with the wraps out there I just bought a whole new steering wheel. I bought the steering wheel from "Revesol"

 

Added a tonnopro lo-roll cover. Cheap and about as low profile as you can get. I had one on a previous Silverado and I’m convinced it can’t be beat for the money if you want a softcover.

Ordered some Clazzio leather seat covers tonight too

I had a set in my Tacoma for 3 years and just sold them on tacomaworld. Still look brand new. Everyone assumed they were factory leather in the taco. Definitely a pain in the ass to install but a few hours and some sore fingers and it’s done. The headrests are the hardest part, weird enough. The real nice thing about Clazzio is if you get a hole in a piece or a giant stain, you can replace just that individual piece without needing to purchase an entire set. I’m excited to get them in the tundra, I’ll be sure to snap some pics.

Local shop cleaned up a body mount chop I didn’t realize was sh**ty. Welded a plate over it and everything.

Also new stoppy things. Power stop pads and rotors at all 4 corners.

Nope, originally planned to have the gun set up right under the lock but found out I couldn’t lock the safe. Where the gun is currently at is where the spare mag is supposed to be. So I’m gonna swap it out to the other side next week. Just ran out of time

 

Re painted all the silver inside with Charcoal Metallic SEM trim paint except the door handles, waiting on new ones. Added Weathertech floor liners, phone chargers and under seat storage. Tech 12 V subwoofer is also in, a great deal for 200.00 and a noticeable improvement over the weak sauce factory sub.

 

Link or pic of the paint you used? And any advice you can give for the trim painting? Looking at doing the steering wheel panel where all the buttons are, the trims on the doors and wherever else the silver is at. Other than that I just did the same thing with the weathertech and ESP underseat storage! Haha

 

Here is the paint I used

I just lightly sanded the parts with 600 dry paper and put two light coats of the black as a base and two coats of the charcoal. (The Charcoal doesn't cover worth a shit)

The adhesion promoter is only for the silver trim on the doors as they are made of some greasy plastic and need it for the paint ti stick.
