    Sup gents, (and ladies)

Here's my truck the day I got it.

    20161202_170855.jpg

    And how it sits today

    20170319_115718.jpg
Changed the headlights since that picture
    20170326_134838.jpg

    What's next? Interior LEDs?

Bumpers are wrapped but I am definitely getting them color matched.

I like the grille and wheels; those aren't changing unless I can get some Platinum wheels.

What say you? Love some ideas.

I will also add that I'd love the Magnuson blower but I'm looking to buy a house next year so that's a little big for now. Maybe once I get settled.

Truck is looking sharp. Some AMP power steps should be next.

I would but I just got the black steps I have on there. Likely won't do new steps for a while. Thanks for the feedback! And compliment!

Pop n lock tailgate lock. Real easy install and great peace of mind so your tailgate doesn't get stolen.

Oh nice. I will definitely look into that. I hate that Toyota can't get an automatic lock ok the tail gate in 2017.

Just bought the same truck a couple days ago. I'm about the paint match the chrome grill surround and badge.

I did an experiment with the duplicolor and it's a dead on match.

I'm easing the wife into mods that cost the bucks.

Jared, my first thoughts were ... Nice job already! Then when I thought some more about it ... A lift would be nice, but maybe not so much with the stock wheels and tires. How about a nice set of 1.25" Spidertrax spacers to push those babies out a little bit for a slightly more aggressive look. I had 1.25" spacers with my OEM's and had no rubbing at all. held me over until I replaced my wheels ...

    Good luck!

Looks like Grandpas truck now. If that's the look you want, add a paint color matched bed cover.

If you want to go "full Grandpa" add a wing on said bed cover.

Need more info on what YOU think is your "style" to provide more Mod input.

Without changing wheels I wouldn't change a thing. The truck looks great as it is.

One recent mod I did was a TRD rear sway bar, it wasn't too expensive and the truck seems to handle better.

For convenience how about a Salex OCD console organizer and tray?

That's a great idea. I think leveling it out (upwards) and maybe putting a more "aggressive" tire on it will look pretty good. It's 2wd truck so I won't really want a big lift.

Fishin, I saw a step by step on YouTube. It was on a tundra. The only thing different than the instructions was to switch the wires where they plug in inside the tailgate.
Install took about 45 mins all together.

Lol. If anything, without the chrome I think it looks even less like a grandpa truck. Pretty sure you need an AARP membership to like chrome. (I say that in jest of course)

Ha, I did the same thing a few weeks ago. Debadged and bought the Duplicolor in MGM and top coat rattle cans. They've been sitting in my garage ever since.

I kind of like the clean look, so I'm not sure if I'll put them on.

Lol. I don't tell the fiancee how much it costs most of the time. I just say, "oh! Look what I did today." She just smiles and rolls her eyes and says, "that's great sweetie." Then asks for shoe money.

    Boom. Winning.
