I think you could run your cord to the carplay port to make it work.

 

Plugs into the 12volt outlet.

 

Didn’t bother taking pics, but I was finally able to put the bulge back after losing it on the highway a few weeks ago. My gf is very happy to have it back. She was not pleased having to drive without it.

 

Looks great ! A couple questions on taking the steering wheel off. I have watched a few videos , some use a steering wheel puller, some don't, did you use one ? And the 2 torx screws, do those come all the way out or did you just loosen those ?

Found a great deal on a used Softopper this weekend. I figure this should hold me over for a while until I upgrade to an RSI Smartcap or possibly a GFC/Superpacific Camper.

 

Would it work if you ran it through the CarPlay port?

On the Tundra you should need a steering wheel puller - I had to really crank on the puller the first time. The 2 Torx screws for the airbag you unscrew completely but they are held in by plastic tabs so don't have to worry about them falling out

Love the start button. Where did you get that?

 

I used the Autozone loaner tool program when I swapped mine out so no cost for the puller tool. Just be careful to double check the size of the torque adapter on you ratchet. They are on tight from the factory and at an angle. So if you go small you can strip it out without much effort.

Looks incredible but I don't even have the patience to put the "Tundra" stickers on the temperature control panel. You definitely deserve a few cold ones for that job

 

Just painted it red...put the stickers on..and then clear coated it. I was planning on getting the Meso Butoon....but they are sold out.

 

Where did you get this and how was the install?

 

Made a very important discovery today. I can fit a growler of beer inside the center console and the lid will still close.

Better than trying to balance it on the seat while transporting the beer home!


Can't wait until I can enjoy the contents later this evening...

Got the safe in, but not only am I apart of the bent corner club it also came bent at the non-secure area. Hopefully, I can bend it back to its original position when I install it tomorrow.

Got my 3d printed phone holder to the perfect size, only missed the original by 2mm.



There is more room between the bottom and the 4wd switch than it appears in the photo.

Had to out my phone case in the holder, since I needed the phone for the pic.
