wow!! That’s effin’ ridiculous. I paid 800 under MSRP (54k) with the spray in bed liner. Dealer had another lunar rock at the time, had a “Sold” tag on it with stainless running boards, bed liner and trifold tonneau for somewhere around 58k.

Nice. Do they actually put proper tires on the 4Runner Pro from the factory?

Yes the trd wheels and tires on these are great we just bought a white 4Runner i like the macth up better the tundra set up

 

What stock tires do you get?

 

They did great. It was pretty slick/snotty coming down off the spur road from Timberline to Hwy 26 (watched plenty of people put the brakes on and keep sliding) and they held really well. The more I drive these, the more I like them over anything I’ve had before (KO2s and GY Duratracs).

 

My wife’s 2020 t4r pro came with trail grapplers from factory

It's just Toyota 4 Runner but shortened, I just thought it was interesting that it seems quite few here (incld me) have T4R Pro as well as Tundra Pro.

 

Ordered the lunar rock AJT fob v2 today. Thanks guys. The V1 looked too big for me.

Does it comes with rear diff locker?
Any offroad capabilities that you heavily leverage compare to the tundra?
Always wondered for "easy" off road if the 4runner was a smarter choice (don't want to get into the tundra vs 4runner as they obviously don't answer the same need, but still curious about off road capabilities).

 

Well don’t know about the forerunner yet. However the Tacoma was like a goat LOL and I’ve had it in mud right at the cab doors and that thing went through it like a snake in the water. I’ve climbed some muddy hills with it and other obstacles
that thing can pretty much go anywhere. I’m not sure which ones better Tundra forerunner or Tacoma. They’re all monsters as far as I’m concerned. I’ve had my Tundra out slinging mud and climbing too!

My wife’s pro blows my tundra out of the water as far as off road capabilities goes, manual transfer case, rear locker, terrain select and the ever popular crawl control. It’s a big nimbler as well, only down I have seen so far is the departure angle. 4runner gots a big ol booty

 

Do you know I need to look at the options on that I know she has the crawl mode.

 

Same as the poster above, the rear locker + MTS is pretty nifty, that and being smaller makes it easier on the trail.

My only gripe with it is the seats are not as comfy as the Tundra and can use some more power, if they had stuffed the 4.6 in it, I would've gladly pay additional 10k on the sticker.

 

If you have crawl and MTS then you have the rear locker.

 

I saw my first Lunar Rock Tundra the other day here in Knoxville, TN. Looked great. I was wondering if the person was a member here.

 

well damn, I’m no longer the lone LR in TN.

 

My daughter said she saw one in the town next to us (Battle Ground) the other day, so I’m no longer the only one in SW WA now either... now to find them and get them to join here.
