Aftermarket radio options

Anyone wanna give links or advice if I wanna replace my radio with something that has apple car play? Maybe get that little screen under there too that shows A/C info?

What’s your budget. I have kenwood dmx1057. Does everything you could imagine

 

I don't know what to imagine.

Does it retain all the 'factory' button functionality? Is one able to access all the features there were within the factory touch screen?
- 'ECO' readout (real-time MPG graphs)
- What happens to the factory to buttons to the left and right of the existing touchscreen? Are some of them disabled after adding the aftermarket HU?

 

You retain all functionality- there will be menus in the new HU for all the vehicle settings. My old HU didn’t give me MPG readout or graphs so I’m not sure what you are referring to there. The buttons will be gone - the silver trim on the sides of the screen get replaced with the new HU.

I know this is an old thread, but hoping someone with a Kenwood DMX957XR. I know it has a screen angle adjustment and have only seen vids where the screen tilts up. Was wondering if it can tilt down so the screen is more horizontal to eliminate glare
