Just got my lab spayed. She is feeling no pain and stoned out of her mind.

 

He looks awesome! I love the spots and the black head!

 

Last weekend my cousin sent me a note on Instagram, turns out she just started a business. I had to buy!



Now the only bummer is it went from being 55-60 degrees here to being 90 degrees. He has to wait for cooler weather.

Sugar and Honey have landed.
We're already seeing their little personalities. Honey is fearless, she's already attacking our 13 year old Sally, she's taking to them well also because she's missing her older sisters. Sugar is the little lady, timid and refined, will just watch the antics from afar.

 

Man, I am so far behind on this tread...

Got a really long walk in today, including some beach time. No one else on the beach this morning, so the leash came off. Lots of stick throwing, smelling and of course a dump...put some sand in my dog's paws and he's hunching over for a download. I think he's part cat.

Jagger ... our spoilt and loved pup !

Collar is for when deer or rabbits take him across the road with traffic. He gets so focused on them he forgets about safety. That’s our built in reminder of stop and come back during distracted times. “Hunt mode is strong with this one.”

 

Jagger looks awesome. What kind of dog is he? We have a mutt, but this stance is exactly the same.

 

Thanks for the kind words. He is a Cur / Beagle mix. He was a rescue at only 2.8lbs and had been eaten up with ants.
My wife and I are empty nesters at this point in our life and enjoy having him around. He is depicted in outside shots but he is a inside/outside/travel companion.
Top shot is in the back seat of my previous truck which was a Tacoma.

 

I see the Beagle in the head for sure. I've never heard of the Cur breed and just researched it. I bet our dog is mostly Cur.

Maiden voyage

 

Larry, there should be a "loved" button.. "liked" doesn't seem to get it.. At the end of vid, no one will play with her and she goes to "attack" the tree.. Just like my Emma!

 

Took Martha out for a 5k walk through the forest today in -25c (-35c with wind chill)

 

Now THAT is dedication! I don't even want to be on the slopes when it's THAT cold!

 

She doesn't let me do anything on the weekends before taking her out. She walks around wimpering, licking me, jumping around the front door where her leash is. It's routine and she knows I'm a sucker. During the week, she doesn't let me forget when I get home from work.

I complain about it, but enjoy it at the same time

 

Took the girls out for a Puppy Bomb drive by. Some friends and family wanted to see them so we rode around having a big time.

 

So much attitude over an empty food bowl.

 

My two LOVE to ride. The younger of the two (the blonde) always has to be on a leash when we go outside, UNLESS I say "In the truck!" She then runs right to the door and waits for me to open it!

 

Stella at 4.5 months old. Boy howdy is this pup strong and one heck of a chick magnet ... lol.

 

My dog Bruce has been struggling here lately on cold mornings to get up. Took him to the vet and found out that he has developed arthritis in his knee and joint. Been giving him hip and joint supplements for a year trying to prevent this but reality finally hits. Sad to hear that it will eventually get worse as time goes on. Gonna do my best to keep him healthy and enjoy life.
