    I actually like them best when black, on a lighter color truck to give contrast ...like the red one @Tundra234 posted above.

    If I need to get for our offset in the spring, I'll be doing black on our blue truck. I'm not big on too much matchy matchy. To me the black on color makes it look more offroad and rugged vs color matched and luxury.

    But either way, they do serve a purpose and make all our trucks individual and personal

    I had the same issue and felt like you do, but went ahead with the install and am happy with it. I had them custom matched, so the $700 final cost had done sway
