Anyone running this setup from SDHQ? I was wondering what spring rate these are from them, and if hoping that they are tuned already.

They’ll come 600lbs standard. You might be able to request a different rate if spoke to them direct, and generic valving from King for Tundras.

I’ll have to try Monday. I ordered the oem ones they have with non adjusters. I have a heavy front bumper but it didn’t give me an option to select 700

Anyone know what height these will be at and if I need a diff drop?

FYI I believe King does not recommend going above 2.5" of lift.

You’ll get 2.25”-2.5” of lift out of the box, and I would not bother with diff drop unless going higher.

One last Question I hope ‍♂️ Will I need an alignment with putting the shocks and camburg uca on?

    Yes

Find a place who knows what they are doing especially since the Camburg have a lot of camber built in.

Camburg is the only one that has about 3 to 4 degrees built in. I currently run them and have a little issue getting numbers where I want with about 2.75" of lift. Unsure which direction I'll head, but until then I can work with where my numbers lie.

Lot of good reviews on the DJ, lot of negative comments on Icon tubular arms here (quick search you'll find those).

600lb springs weren’t strong enough for my Tacoma with a winch and front bumper so I highly doubt they be strong enough for a Tundra (5.7L) even without a winch and/or bumper. I wouldn’t go lighter than 700lb.

Got everything changed. Non adjuster Extended travel 2.5 with 700lbs spring rate, with a tuning request. Icon tubular delta joints uca. It is going to be a long wait, about 12 to 20 weeks.

12-20 weeks is a long time to be checking order status and tracking #s. Maybe it’ll be faster. I have the icon dj and so far my only issue is it pulls to the left. I kept having that issue before. Go to a place that offers an alignment deal. I had to go to Goodyear here to get a 3 year deal.

I have icon coilovers with 600 lbs spring rate and a winch and bumper. So far I haven’t noticed any issues, but I don’t drive fast off road or jump my truck. If I did it again, I’d probably go with the 700 lbs too.

Do they actually offer tuning? Some companies are claiming they do, but are just ordering the standard valving from King. Also, a 600lb spring on a Tacoma is different than a Tundra. Different lengths, different motion ratio etc.

The guy I spoke with said he would put in a customer request to King to tune when they finally send them out. I don’t know how they would ride straight out of the box, but hopefully everything will be good. My bumper does weigh over 300lbs without winch so I think 700lbs spring rate won’t be a bad idea.

I waited 16 weeks for my Kings. With a 300 pound bumper 700 lbs springs are probably what you want.

Anyone know if I need a sway bar relocation with these kings? Also still getting diff drop and carrier bearing drop just because might as well.

With 2.5” of lift or so you won’t need to do anything with the sway bar or a diff drop kit, although that won’t hurt. Just make sure you have the spacers for your skid plate. Carrier bearing drop is definitely something you should do though. It’s cheap and takes 10 to do. I got the shudder on takeoff with around 2.5” of lift until I installed it.

Nice I’ll just do all of it for future upgrades. Never heard of the skid plate spacer though. My local Toyota dealer is doing install for around 800 with alignment.

Here is an example of the spacer kit. Some diff drop kits come with it and other mfgs sell them, like how RCI sends spacers with their skids if you ask for them.

This says TRD Pro skid plate, but I’m pretty sure the stock one needs to too or you can’t put it back on with the diff drop.

Delta Joint is great, as you stated, but Icon Tubular is the devil. It's like they didn't cut the steel to the correct length. Nearly impossible to get them aligned properly.

I have those same uca and my truck was able to be aligned. It took 3 tries before it felt right though. But it also took 3 times with 6112s and stock uca.

If you read the instructions for them you have to cut a little off the tie rod to get them to align 'in some rare cases'

Sounds like they effed up and modified the instructions to cya. But from what I have read, if you cut that little bit off (like a 1/4 inch) they align just fine. Taking a little off the tie rod doesn't hurt anything anyway
